Samsung has confirmed the release date of its low-end Android smartphone Galaxy Young for the UK markets. The handset is suppose to be arriving in 2-3 days on different carriers across the country. The Samsung Galaxy Young will be available in new colors including white, Wine red, Metallic silver and the Deep blue. These colors have been added recently to this Samsung flagship phone.
The Galaxy Young will be made available on many UK carriers including Carphone Warehouse, Orange and O2 which will display the device on their shelves while Vodafone and others will show it up later this week. The contract limits and the price aren’t disclosed yet but we know there will be some attractive deals for this low-end yet impressive Android smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy Young has a crispy bright screen and more interestingly loaded with one of the most stable versions of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, which could not be found in such low end smartphones. Most of them came up with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The other features that made Samsung Galaxy Young a deal to grab are its 3.27 inch 320 x 480 pixels, HVGA TFT Capacitive touchscreen which has a 176 ppi pixel density. The device is regarded powerful as it has a single core 1 GHz Cortex-A5 processor supported with 768MB of RAM which is quite enough to run the latest injected Android version known as Jelly Bean.
The device is powered by a Lithium-ion 1,300mAh battery. The Galaxy Young has a single variant that comes up with a 4GB built in memory while the users still have the option to increase it over 15 times with an additional support for a microSD card of up to 64GB. The Galaxy Young comes up with the same Samsung’s TouchWiz UX user interface, which is regarded more like an identity for the Samsung devices. The Samsung Galaxy Young is designed for those users who wants some affordable Android handsets, loaded with the latest Android version.
