Finally the PureView camera technology lands on Nokia Lumia devices which has been promised by the world’s most famous Windows phone makers. Yes with the launch of Nokia Lumia 1020 we will have an option of benefiting from the best ever mobile phone camera on this new stable and fast Platform i.e. Windows Phone 8. The device has been leaked many times before under the codename “Nokia EOS” by different sources as many of them has posted the images of the upcoming device on their blogs. It was later on officially accepted by the developers at Nokia that they are planning to introduce such a Windows device having their famous 41-megapixel PureView camera at the back.
The device has been found to be named Nokia Lumia 1020 later in a leaked report that emerged on a credible twitter account @evleaks. The device has been promised to launch today i.e. 11th of July 2013. But we are lucky that we got the whole specification sheet leaked ahead of the official launch.

The Nokia Lumia 1020 has the same shape as the others found in the Nokia Lumia series phones, it resembles to the most talked about Nokia Lumia 920. The first four digit code named Lumia 1020 smartphone is composed of a 4.5 inch AMOLED HD Plus display which has a resolution of 1280 x 768 p with a high as 400+ ppi resolution as found in the current high-end Android smartphones. The screen is protected by the best known Gorilla Glass 3. The most fascinating thing about this device is the PureView camera that has a gigantic 41 Megapixel sensor fitted in with the Optical Image Stabilization feature (OIS) has found to be the best camera sensor ever fitted inside a Smartphone. There is a long list of camera features which have been found on the device which we have found on the Nokia Blog includes the capacity of Shooting Full-HD 1080p videos under the worst light conditions. Beside that the 6 lens optics camera can use 3X high resolution zoom with the latest features like Auto-focus and auto stability. The device also comes up with a free 7 GB space on Sky Drive, which is a Microsoft backed cloud storage app.
The other best thing is the up-to-date Nokia Maps injected in the device new supported apps like Nokia Here and Drive Here pre-installed in the device. The whole stuff will be powered by a 1020mAH battery which sounds to be insufficient if you are an Android user, but for a Windows Phone 8 device it is too much power backup for the whole days operations. Connectivity-wise, the Nokia Lumia 1020 is compatible with Bluetooth, NFC, 4G LTE, HSPA plus. The device will be presented in the White and Yellow variants on the launch or there may be a Black one pops up too.
The device will be made available all over the world with deals already going on between Nokia and different carriers around the Globe. The device will most probably first hit the AT&T carrier in United States markets. However still nothing pops up about the price of the Nokia Lumia 1020.
