BlackBerry’s most owned and acclaimed messaging service the BBM will show up on Google Play and iTunes store by the end of this September this year. So all Android users and Apples iOS users will have the access to this famous trademark BlackBerry Messaging app. This has been reported by a BlackBerry India’s managing director Sunil Lalvani in an interview given to the famous Indian Tv IBN network.
There has been no clue of any fixed date but he added a some remakes saying, “The service is coming to Android this summer. But summer as per North America, where it remains till September,” he said. The host of the show seemed more joyous then ever before on these remarks and he started prodding him further to get a fixed date but he ends up with a statement of “affirmative” regarding the end of the September statement.
When he was then prodded further to clarify whether this means it will be out before the end of September, his responsive was allegedly “in the affirmative”. Still there was no word for iOS but one thing he assured that iDevices will get it soon after Android devices.
The BlackBerry messaging app is the only most engaged app which was solely available on single platform, the BlackBerry market. Many users still have one extra BlackBerry phone in their pocket just to access their friends through the BBM app. The developers at BlackBerry know these facts and they also realized that by making their presence on other platforms they can achieve their lost status of most used messaging app on smartphones.
