How to root Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-i9505 Running Android 4.4 KitKat.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 is certainly the most sold Samsung Flagship device yet and there are many ways to root the device and if you are our regular reader you might have tried and tested those Tutorials. But if you are the one who have manually downloaded the Android 4.4 KitKat ROMs on you Galaxy S4 then there is a new way to root your device by adopting this new method that have been shared on the famous XDA forums.

The renowned forum user djrbliss have just shared this method which is passes all obstacles set by Samsung to stop the rooting process of their Galaxy S4. But now with this newly introduced process you can simply root your Samsung Galaxy S4 Running Android 4.4 KitKat with the help of some clicks. This will help you get rid of the TouchWiz Application.

But before rooting your Galaxy S4 please read this note.

How to Root Samsung Galaxy S4 running on Android 4.4 KitKat:

First of all make sure to download the file given above. Keep it in mind that this method is a bit different than the ones you would have used in rooting your devices earlier. This version does not work with the software version of the Galaxy S4 ending withe letters MDM. The version is a package of about 80 MB which will be installed on your device. This Rooting method has been tried and tested on Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-i9505 variant running Snapdragon 600 CPU.

If you think everything matches with all the above instructions than you should follow these steps given below to.

1-Decompress the motochopper.zip file that you’ve just downloaded.
2- Activate the developer options on your Galaxy S4 by pressing on the Build Number several times (7x ) found under ”About Device”.
3- Under the ”More” tab, you’ll find the ”Developer options”, in which you’ll check the box for USB debugging. After that, simply confirm.
4- Connect your Galaxy S4 to your PC and wait until Windows has correctly installed all of the drivers (this can take a few minutes).
5- Once the S4 is properly recognized, go to the motochopper file and launch the run.bat file.


6- Once this window pops up, click on any key to continue.


7- A message will appear on your Galaxy S4, to which you click OK. After a short while of waiting, you’ll be asked again to click on any key. Your S4 will restart.

You can now press any key to reboot your device.

That’s it! Congratulations! Your Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-i905 has been rooted! Now you can install all the apps that needed a rooted device. We suggests some apps like Seeder and Rootkit that will help you in adding some real useful apps for your Rooted Galaxy S4.
