Developers at Apple has just released the update for their iOS 7 base OS. The new update version is iOS 7.1.1 which is already made available as an OTA update for the iPhones, iPads, and iPod touch. With some basic changes that have been mentioned in the full change log published by developers the iOS 7.1.1 has got some important features included like iTunes Radio additional features, the newly fresh designed calendar app and the CarPlay.
In this update the developers focused more on stability and there isn’t any huge changes made in the overall system. The update focuses more for the iPhone 5S touch ID fingerprint recognition which has some issues while unlocking the device. There are also some bluetooth support features added to allow the wireless device get connected with devices running iOS.

– Fixes a bug that could impact keyboard responsiveness

The best thing is the latest update runs on all devices having iOS 7 installed on it.
Although you should keep in mind that there are no jailbreak released for this update and if you are a Jailbreak fanatic and can’t live without customizing your phone then you have to wait for the Evad3rs or other teams to introduce the jailbreak for this latest iOS version.

How to install iOS 7.1.1 on your device:
1- All you have to do is Download the specific ipsw from the links given above.
2- Extract the dmg firmware file to ipsw format using this DMGExtrator software.
3- Now download the latest iTune 11 if you don’t have the latest version already installed.
4- Connect your device with PC via USB cable
5- Open iTunes, go for updates.
6- Hold Shift and click on Check for Updates button in iTunes
7- Select the ipsw file and Install it on your device.
8- This will take 10-15 minutes and your device will reboot and will be updated to iOS 7.1.1
