All Jailbreakers Upgrade to iOS 7.1.2 to get iOS 8 updates before Apple stop signing.

With the announcement of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, Apple has announced its future OS and its the iOS 8 and in couple of days it will be made available to public and you can upgrade it your iDevices accordingly. But if you have a Jailbreak iPhone, iPad or iPad Touch, you would upgrade your device to iOS 7.1.2 to get the iOS 8 update. There are reports that soon Apple will stop signing iOS 7.1.2. This may result all Jailbroken iPhone’s or iPad’s owners to remain stuck in iOS 7.1. This is clear that the Jailbroken devices will not be able to Downgrade, restore ot upgrade to iOS 7.1.2 firmware and will not get the untethered Jailbreak with Pangu.

Thus is it really important for all users of an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch which have been jailbroken on iOS 7.1 and are running Cydia, They must upgrade their iDevices to iOS 7.1.2 to get the latest version of the iOS 8 and the future Jailbreaks that has been promised by different hackers including Pangu team which has recently announced the Untethered iOS 7.1 Jailbreak.

Step 1: First of all Connect your device with iTunes.

Step 2: Now open the ‘Summary’ page by clicking on the device’s button on top right side of the screen.

Step 3: Make sure to save a fresh backup by clicking on the ‘Back Up Now’ button.

Step 4: After that you have to click on the ‘Restore iPhone’ button. If you have Find My iPhone on then you will receive an error. In that case on your iOS device open Settings > iCloud and turn off ‘Find My iPhone’ and try again.

Step 5: This will make the iTunes to download iOS 7.1.2 and install it on your device. Once its done you can restore the most recent backup from the Set up screen.
