Moving to the installation of the Cydia for iOS 8 you have to follow these steps but make sure to understand that the process below is quite complex, unless you’re familiar with SFTP and SSH. It also involves running commands as root, which can be risky. So we ask you to proceed with caution, and discourage you from installing Cydia the manual way unless absolutely necessary. You should also backup your device, if you haven’t already, should anything go wrong. So we will not be responsible if your Apple device got bricked due to installation errors.
How to install Cydia for iOS 8 – iOS 8.1 devices with Pangu Jailbreak:
All you have to do is follow these steps given here one by one.
Step 1: First of all make sure that you have Jailbroken your iOS 8 – iOS 8.1 device with Pangu Untethered jailbreak tool. If not read this.
Step 3: Now you can send these files downloaded in the above step on your PC or Mac to the Jailbroken iOS device via the SFTP. You can send these file to a Mac using the Cyberduck tool, while if you are using Windows the best tool we recommend is the WinSCP.
Step 4: Make sure that to let your PC or Mac and the iOS device use the same WiFi network.
Step 5: Get the IP address of your device from Settings > Wi-Fi and tap the “i” button against the network you’re connected to. Note down the series of numbers labelled IP Address.
Step 6: Now open the Cyberduck on Mac and the WinSCP on PC and SSH into your device.
Step 7: You should enter the same IP address you have found in the Step 5.
Step 8: Set the username as “root” and Password “alpine” in the required fields.
Step 9: The file browser will pop up you can now drag and drop both Cydia deb files on your device.
Step 10: After that press Ctrl + T or ⌘ + T to start an SSH command line session. Navigate to the same folder (using the cd command) where you had copied the deb file.
Step 11: Make sure to put these commands right and in order given in Bold fonts. dpkg -i cydia-lproj_1.1.12_iphoneos-arm.deb’ ‘dpkg -i cydia_1.1.13_iphoneos-arm.deb.
Step 12: If you encounter the missing Dependency warnings, you can download it manually form here, and repeat the same process.
Step 13: At last now reboot the device.
