The Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) released by Virgin and Boost Mobile in January, is also expected to launch by US second largest mobile carrier soon. The images are leaked by @evleaks who has a strong record of accomplishment of leaking the new devices that have just to steer in the market, so the renders of Galaxy J3 with AT&T Tag suggest the official launch soon. The images look similar to the Boost and Virgin handsets. However, AT&T has not yet confirmed about the launch of the Galaxy J3. If we look at the home screen in leaked image, we can predict that the handset could go on sale in early May.
The Galaxy J3 is the budgeted phone but it still has decent features to compete for the high-end phones. It comes with 5-inch 720p Super AMOLED touch screen, LTE connectivity, 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 CPU, 1.5GB of RAM, 2600 mAh battery. It bears a 5 Megapixel rear camera with 2-megapixel front facing camera. It is not yet confirmed that the Galaxy J3 will come in more color versions or only in white/black combo.
The phone currently comes with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop but we hope that Samsung will update the J3 to Android Marshmallow before launching on AT&T.
The Boost and Virgin Mobile are already offering the Galaxy J3 (2016) with $179.99 off contract and we assume that AT&T handset will not be too different in price.
