Microsoft Lumia 650 Goes on Sale in India

We have experienced many budgeted Lumia series smartphones in past, now Microsoft brings summation to its Lumia series with a Dual Sim smartphone, the Lumia 650 running the latest Microsoft OS named as Windows 10 mobile. Microsoft released the Lumia 650 for India pricing at INR 15,299 or $230.

The Dual SIM Smartphone Lumia 650 comes with 5-inch 720p OLED display with also using a Cornung Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. The phone is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 chipset, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage with up to 200GB of external storage option, a 8 Megapixel rear back camera and 5 Megapixel front facing camera and a battery of 2000mAh. According to Microsoft, the standby time of the smartphone is up to 26 days while the battery can stay alive for talk time of 16 hours.

The Lumia 650 supports 4G LTE in India and also comes with OneDrive storage and Microsoft’s Cortana feature. It will be available to Indian users with black and white color options.

Meanwhile, there are allegations that this Lumia 650 smartphone will be the last sibling to Lumia family as Microsoft is now focusing on high-end phone devices, solely name as ‘Surface’. The first high-end surface phone is anticipated to launch by Microsoft in the first quarter of 2017.
