After announcing iPhone SE along with 9.7-inch iPad Pro at March 21st event, Apple now released its phone to Indian markets. The phone is available offline as well as online through Apple’s retail partners Flipkart and Infibeam.
The price for the 4-inch smartphone is starting at INR 39,000 for the 32GB variant while 64GB model will be available at the price of INR 49,000.
The iPhone SE is Apple’s latest 4-inch smartphone coming to public after two years since the launch 5s. The phone comes in replacement to 5s but have some high-end specifications resembling the iPhone 6 and 6s. The phone comes with powerful A9 chip which was also used in iPhone 6s and 6s plus, and 12 Megapixel iSight camera boasted of up to 4K video. It has also some great features that were not available for 5s like Apple Pay contactless payment option, 18 wireless supported 4G LTE bands, and Wifi and has 50 percent better battery life. SE has also a touch ID fingerprint scanner but it is same as used in 5s.
The color options that Indian users can choose for iPhone SE are silver, space gray, gold and rose gold.
