There have been a lot of rumors about the new Samsung Galaxy rough and tough device, the Galaxy S7 Active. The rumors seems to be quite true as we have our first ever authenticated leaked image of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active with a unique Desert Camo back you can see in the image above. The source that leaked this image has confirmed that this is for AT&T and is code named SM-G891A.
The reporter at SamMobile have claimed that the device will be unvieled on 10th of June and claims that it will be made available in United States first. So this AT&T variant of the Galaxy S7 Active seems to be quite legit.
The S7 Active specs sheet resembles to the official Galaxy S7, as it owns the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor under the 5.5 inch Quad HD Display. Beside this the device will come up with the 4 GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, a 12-megapixel rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter.
The normal Galaxy S7 is Water and dust resistant, so does this Active variant will live up the mark. The handset will have enhanced protection against water and dust so expect a plastic/polycarbonate body with rubberized buttons. The lock screen on this photo suggests that the Galaxy S7 Active will be launched on June 10 and that it’s going to arrive on AT&T first if history is any indication, it’s likely going to be exclusive to the second largest carrier in the US.
