Rockstar Reveals GTA VI Radio Stations, Celebrity Hosts, and On-Demand Podcasts (2026)
Rockstar Games has pulled back the curtain on the soundtrack of Grand Theft Auto VI. On October 8, 2026, the studio updated the official GTA VI website with a dedicated music section revealing six in-game radio stations, a roster of celebrity hosts, and a franchise first: on-demand podcasts that players can listen to while walking around on foot.

The new GTA VI Radio Stations:
Rockstar describes the lineup as the biggest and widest-ranging selection of in-game radio the series has ever offered, spanning classic rock, modern hip-hop, pop, metal, dance, Latin, electronic, blues, talk radio, and more. Previews of all six stations are already playable on the official GTA VI website, according to Kotaku.
In-game radio has been a signature part of Grand Theft Auto since the early 3D era, with stations like Vice City’s Wave 103 and Flash FM becoming cultural icons in their own right. Until now, the music stopped the moment players stepped out of a vehicle. That changes in GTA VI. Protagonists Jason and Lucia can listen to radio and podcasts on foot through wired headphones and wireless earbuds connected to their in-game smartphones, reports Destructoid. The studio has also confirmed a series of on-demand fictional podcasts, another first for the franchise.
What are the 6 New GTA VI Radio Stations:
Here are the six stations Rockstar has revealed so far, per the official GTA VI website and reporting from Push Square and The FADER:
Cocoteo FM is the modern Latin station, covering reggaeton, bachata, merengue, and dembow. It is hosted by El Martillo, played by Bad Bunny, and La Gata, played by RaiNao. Confirmed tracks include Bad Bunny’s “EoO”, “Si Es Trucho Es Trucho (Remix)” by Axel Rulay featuring Farruko and El Alfa, and “Canalla” by Romeo Santos and El Chaval de la Bachata.
Back Country Radio handles country and outlaw tracks, broadcast to the Grassrivers and Port Gellhorn regions. Hosts MW and Delta Dawne are played by Morgan Wallen and Lana Del Rey, joined by call-in personality Mud Dog Mike (played by Del Rey’s husband Jeremy Dufrene), field reporters, and even a swamp weather forecaster. Confirmed songs include “The Conversation” by Hank Williams Jr. and Waylon Jennings, Loretta Lynn’s “Don’t Come Home A-Drinkin’ (With Lovin’ On Your Mind)”, and David Allan Coe’s “Need a Little Time Off for Bad Behavior”.
AfroBank FM spans African music from 20th-century classics to modern amapiano and 3-step, hosted by Burna (Burna Boy) and Palmsy (Palms Trax). Confirmed tracks include Asake’s “Joha”, “Gye Wani” by Pat Thomas featuring Ebo Taylor, and “Shay’sana” by DJ Lag and Robot Boii featuring Kamo Mphela.
The Chamber 106.6 is the metal station, with DJ Kerry and DJ Tom played by Slayer’s Kerry King and Tom Araya. The setlist includes Slayer’s “Raining Blood”, Black Sabbath’s “I”, and Pantera’s “I’m Broken”.
Flash FM, the pop institution from the original Vice City, returns decades later with hosts Robyn and Alex (model Alex Consani). Confirmed songs include MGMT’s “Electric Feel”, Charli xcx’s “Good Ones”, and “Midnight Sun (Girls Trip)” by Zara Larsson and PinkPantheress.
Dirty South Classics rounds out the lineup with Southern rap and hip-hop, hosted by Trick Daddy (as Trick) and Trina. Confirmed tracks include “Like A Pimp” by David Banner featuring Lil’ Flip, “Who Dat” by JT Money featuring Solé, and “Born N Raised” by DJ Khaled featuring Trick Daddy, Rick Ross, and Pitbull.
Any Official Confirmation about these Radio Stations?
Rockstar has not confirmed whether these six are the complete roster, and NotebookCheck notes more programming is expected in the finished game.
The radio reveal arrives alongside Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, a 34-track collection of original music made with Atlantic Records featuring artists including Travis Scott, PinkPantheress, Morgan Wallen, Yung Lean, Fred Again.., and Keith Richards. Vinyl and CD editions are available to pre-order now, and the album launches November 19, the same day as the game, according to NME.
Grand Theft Auto VI launches November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, thirteen years after GTA V, and is set in the state of Leonida. With six stations, A-list celebrity hosts, and podcasts that follow players on foot, Rockstar is treating the game’s audio as a headline feature rather than background noise. Every station can be sampled on the official GTA VI website today.
