How to Recover Data from Broken Screen / dead Galaxy S7 Edge.

 

The glass is always be a glass no matter how much they advertise about its stealth features naming it Gorilla Glass 1, 2, 3, 4 or even Gorilla Glass X. All current flagship devices by most smartphone makers now a days come with So called best available strong glass used in display, But every now then someone accidentally drops their device and get it broken in matter of seconds. So here I had a Galaxy S7 Edge with Broken screen and I had tons of photos, videos and most needed stuff loaded in it. That was quite a nervous moment but I somehow configured the issue and successfully transferred all my most needed data from the Broken Display / Screen Galaxy S7 Edge to my PC running Windows 10.

Today I am going to let you know how I did it with ease, without loosing any data from my Broken Screen Galaxy S7 Edge. The process is quite simple and all you need to recover Data from Galaxy Note 4 to your Windows 10/8 PC you can install the best available Samsung connection manager KIES.

KIES have been always helpful in recovering and transferring Data among PC and Samsung smartphones. You can download the latest version of the Kies from Samsung Here.

But What if you can’t connect your device with your PC due to the Passcode that it asks for again and again and your broken Display S7 Edge has noting left to read your on screen taps. In this case you can use this following trick to get everything recovered from your smartphone.

How to Recover Data from Broken Screen / dead Galaxy S7 Edge:

If you want to carry on using the same device you can replace the Broken Display by getting the new one from any smartphone store and by simply following this Guide here. You can replace the screen and recover the data from the phone as well. But if you have a Samsung Account ( If you don’t have you can register for one)  All you have to do is follow these steps given below in this guide.

Step 1: Login in to your Samsung Account by using the Samsung ID and Pass.

Step 2: Click on the Find my Mobile option on the next screen.

Step 3: Once done there will be a new list of actions pops up which will let you perform any action with your smartphone device.

Step 4: Now you can select the option of “Remotely unlock my phone” from the given list.

Step 5: It Will remotely Unlock Your phone and by selecting the option and entering the ID and Pass again and clicking on Unlock device option as seen in the image.

Step 6: Now all you have to do is connect your device with your PC desktop or Laptop computer with the USB cable and your device will start displaying as it does before.

That’s it you can now access all those folders in your device and if you are looking for Photos and Videos, then click on the DCIM folder and get your data. That’s how you can easily recover Data from your broken Screen Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
