The new agreement securing the shared exclusive rights for BBC and ITV continues the free-to-air broadcasting of FIFA World Cup 2022 to UK television viewers, through online live streaming and radio coverage. FIFA has extended the television deal with Fox Sports and Telemundo. The 2Sport2 consortium has secured media rights for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar across free-to-air (FTA) and pay-TV in Russia.

Antenna TV (Greece):

Antenna TV bought exclusive media rights to air the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Greece. Greece’s free-to-air broadcaster will cover the tournament daily and live coverage of all 64 matches on its platforms. Ant1TV will telecast at least 32 matches, including the opening match, quarterfinals, semi-finals, and final.

Rai (Italy):

In Italy, Rai has acquired FIFA World Cup 2022 television, digital and radio rights. All 64 matches will be telecasted live on Rai 1 in the territory and viewers can also live stream matches via Fubo TV. At least 28 matches of the tournament, including the opening match, final and both semi-finals, will be shown on the broadcaster’s flagship channel, Rai 1.

MediaPro (Spain):

FIFA signed an agreement with MEDIAPRO for media rights (TV, internet, mobile) in Spain for FIFA events including FIFA World Cup 2022. MEDIAPRO will broadcast live coverage through a dedicated 24/7 channel in Spain for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

SuperSport (Africa):

All 64 matches of the FIFA World Cup 2022 will be broadcast live on SuperSport in Sub-Saharan Africa, SuperSport’s pay-TV broadcast rights extended to all platforms, all these matches also streamed live on SuperSport digital platform (Website, App). Bell Media will cover the FIFA World Cup 2022 using its sports TV channels TSN and TSN2, its TSN Radio network, its TSN dot ca website and its TSN Mobile TV offering. Bell Media will also present French-language coverage on Quebec TV market assets, including its RDS cable sports channel.

ARY Digital (Pakistan):

ARY Digital Network is the official broadcasters in Pakistan for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, ARY Digital Network own exclusive telecast rights for all matches played in this tournament. For New Zealand audiences, SKY Sport NZ is the official broadcaster, they can tune to SKY for the live coverage of the event.

EBU (Europe):

The European Broadcasting Union has secured all exclusive media rights for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Europe. The new FIFA/EBU deal covers the rights for 37 countries in Europe.

Globo (Brazil):

CCTV (China):

FIFA has signed a broadcast deal with China Central Television (CCTV) to grant CCTV exclusive media rights in China for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Under this agreement, CCTV has acquired all media rights, across all platforms and including live, delay and highlights rights. CCTV is the major state and public broadcaster in China, the FIFA World Cup will be available for viewing on CCTV’s multiple channels as well as on various new media and mobile platforms (OTT).
