The Samsung Galaxy S4 has got yet another variant with the addition of a more powerful processor. At the time of launch in mid of March most of the Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9500 came with Exynos 5 Octa 5410. While the other variant GT-I9505 got the Snapdragon 600 processor.
The latest Galaxy S4 GT-I9506 was spotted in a AnTuTu benchmark results. The reports shows the presence of Snapdragon 800 in this LTE+ unit of the Galaxy S4 variant. This is a much more faster processor than the others spotted inside the earlier version of the Galaxy S4. Samsung has announced the same variant with Snapdragon 800 and LTE support in the Korean market last month. The new processor shows a huge leap in scores shown in the benchmark. Beside this Developers at Qualcomm has claimed it as the most battery efficient processor made by them yet. Which means the Galaxy S4 GT-I9506 battery will lasts longer than it’s older variants.
This new device is most expected to be announced in the European market too as the spotted current firmware version points to the European countries. The leaked firmware I9506XXUAMG6, the I9506OXAAMG6 and the I9506XXUAMG6 targeted for United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Italy and France.
This new variant GT-I9506 variant of the Galaxy S4 will have the same specs sheet as compared to it’s older variant. This includes a 5-inch Full-HD 1080p display, A 2 GB of RAM supported with the above mentioned CPU. As expected the device will have the same Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean version with the same Samsung TouchWiz UX 2.0.
