The renowned Indian smartphone makers Gionee has officially announced the Gionee Elife E7 Mini smartphone. The device design resembles to Oppo N1 with the rotatable camera which can be used both as a front and back camera of the device. As promised by some top spy agents out there the Elife E7 Mini doesn’t comes up with a sharp 16 mega-pixel shooter as mentioned in many leaked images and tweets, But the device has the 13 Megapixel sharp shooter which gives awesome shots both in daylight and Night photographs.
The Gionee Elife E7 Mini runs on AMIGO 2.0 which is a well customized Android os device based on the Android Jelly Bean firmware. The smartphone has a relatively large display of 4.7 inch in contrast to the name MINI, the display is Multi touch capacitve Full HD, composed of the latest Gorilla Glass 3. Inside the device there is one of the most powerful 1.7 GHz Octa Core processor powered by the MediaTek MT6592 chipset along with 1 GB of RAM and the support of GPU.
As mentioned earlier the device has a special Rotatable camera which is a 13 megapixel unit and can be used both rear and front camera. It can shoot Full-HD 1080p videos at the standard 30 frames per second. The mini variant of the Elife E7 has the dual SIM support loaded with the same connectivity features found in its elder cousin Elife E7.
The device comes up in only one variant on the basis of built in memory and that is the 16 GB unit. There is an 2,100 mAh battery installed to power the device which seems to be enough to run the device for a whole busy day. There are reports that the device will be made available in different colors but we have just seen the Pink one as the people at FoneArena have their hands on the device.
Gionee Elife E7 Mini will be made available in Indian markets for the price of INR 18,999 which is approxomatley $308 world wide. You may be start thinking of the featured Nexus devices with such low price tag but this Elife E7 mini is still a new comer and may have to pass many tests to get the ranks in ever growing Android devices platform.
