Call failure is one of the most annoying issues that have been reported over from various iPhone users particularly the users of IOS 8 and later versions. This was also noticed that when people call on some other cell phones from their iPhone they see the call failure message. Some of us might ignore it saying ourselves that it might be some technical problem over from our service provider but the reality is “NO”. This issue had to be solved so we came up with various possibilities to fix this issue.
There are a few things one can do in order to solve this issue. There are several methods you can use to get rid of this Call Failure issue on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. You can also resolve this Call Failure Issue on any iOS 8 device.
1- DIAL *#31#
From your keypad dial *#31# and press call it would give a message “setting interrogation succeeded calling line ID restriction disabled” this is one of the easiest way to get rid of this call failure.
2- Toggle Airplane mode
The second option unlock your iPhone and swipe from bottom to top there appears a new menu type rectangular box, on the top left of which there is an airplane option turn it on and leave it on for a few seconds and then turn it off. This might fix the issue.
3- Unnecessary Apps
The third possibility is to turn off all the applications that you are not using and then try to make a call it would probably not give the same message of call failure again.
4- Date & Time
The fourth option is that you go to the settings>General>date and time turn automatic update of date and time off and set your location manually and then turn on the automatic update of date and time on. This might also solve the issue.
5- Caller ID
Caller ID option deals with your network service provider, so in some Apple handsets this option is disabled but if not go to setting tap phone turn on caller ID option or if it fails you can always turn off call waiting and forwarding options.
Reboot is an old school option that everyone uses at first when they see their handsets misbehaving or laptops or desktops so everyone must be having the knowledge how to reboot the apple device. You just need to press and hold the power button until it says turn off the device toggle that option from left to right wait for a few minutes and then turn it on. You might fix the problem this way.
7- Reset network settings
Resetting the network setting would work if you think that network provider is responsible for the call failure message you just need to go to Settings> General> Reset>Reset network settings.
8- Reset to factory settings
Going for this option should be the last resort as this would erase all the data from your iPhone so before doing this you should make the backup of your data on your iTunes and then go for it. Tap on Setting >General>Reset>Reset all settings. This will reset your phone to factory setting back to the date when you bought it.
