How To Root XXUGNI1 Android 4.4.2 KitKat Official Firmware on Samsung Galaxy S4 I9500



After updating your Samsung Galaxy S4 to latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat XXUGNHI1 official firmware now its time to root your Galaxy s4 . After updating to official stock firmware you loose root access to your device and after updating to stock firmware you have to root your device again. In stock firmware you have limited access to your device and after root your device will be fully in your control. Following is a guide on how to Root XXUGNI1 Android 4.4.2 KitKat Official Firmware on Galaxy S4 I9500 .

This guide is for Samsung Galaxy S4 I9500 variant , do not try this method on any other galaxy S4  variant. Follow each step carefully in case of any mishap or you brick your smartphone we are not held responsible for that . 


How To Root Samsung Galaxy S4 Running XXUGNI1 Android 4.4.2 KitKat Official Firmware:

Step 1- Switch Off your smartphone.

Step 2- Boot your smartphone in Download Mode. Press and hold volume down+home+power buttons .

Step 3- Open Odin.


Step 4- Now connect your smartphone with PC and when your smartphone connects successfully one of the Odin port become colorful.

Step 5- Now extract the file you download above ( CF-Auto Root file).

Step 6- Click on PDA or AP and select the file, this file will be found in extract folder of  CF-Auto Root file.

Step 7- Check Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time options in Odin.

Step 8- Click Start.

After installation completes your device will automatically boots in recovery mode and install the root files.  .
