For time being the most anticipated smartphone is the Google’s very own flagship device the Nexus 6. Although we don’t have any news for the announcement date of the Nexus 6 from the Google’s authorities but we have all the leaked images and specs of the device published by some recommended sources already. On the other hand Samsung has just released their flagship device for their Phablet line of smartphones, The Galaxy Note 4.
The Samsung Galaxy Note series was unique regarding their size, and the term Phablet started being used for such huge smartphones which can be compare with a tablet with respect to size. But now more smartphone makers seem eager to release some huge smartphones. Apple has announced their phablet, the iPhone 6 Plus which has a 5.5 inch display. While the future Nexus 6 is reported to have a 5.92 inch display leaving all Galaxy Note devices behind with respect to the screen size.
Today we will compare the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the Nexus 6 on the basis of leaked yet confirmed specs sheet of the Google’s phablet device. Both Nexus 6 and Galaxy Note 4 has the latest QHD displays that has a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels, while both devices has 500+ppi pixels density displays. The only difference between the displays is that Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has the Super AMOLED display while the Nexus 6 has the True HD IPS display.
On performance testing ground both devices have powerful CPU units chipped in. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor with the clock speed of 2.7 GHz Krait 450 Series chips. The Galaxy Note 4 and the Nexus 6 has both the same amount of RAM which is 3GB while both have the same powerful Adreno 420 GPU Units installed in. So the performance sheet every one is expecting to be close as the device mostly have the same chips that are available in the market lately.
The difference came as the Nexus 6 comes up with the 13 megapixel main camera at the back of the device while the Galaxy Note 4 have the 16 megapixel unit rear camera while another 3.7mega pixle on the front of the device. The Galaxy Note can shoot 4K 2160p@30fps, and the full HD 1080 p videos at 60fps. While there are no confirm reports about the capabilities of the Nexus 6 device, however it will have the capacity to shoot 4K videos as mentioned in some leaked reports. The difference between the two comes to the cameras and sensors. As expected, Samsung’ Note 4 will be sporting all sorts of sensors, which also includes a couple of health-related ones. Nexus 6, on the other hand, has only the basic sensors, but this might be subject to change once the device is released.
At last the Galaxy Note 4 has a 3,220 mAh battery while there is expected a 3,100 mAh battery to be found in the Nexus 6 device.
