The successor of the Samsung Galaxy Pocket the popular low end Samsung device in the developing markets lead to the release of the Galaxy Pocket 2 which has been made available for the Asian Market recently. Although the device has some upgraded stuff as compared to it’s predecessor but still the Galaxy Pocket 2 duos stands in the same price list category.
Jumping to the specs sheet of the device the Samsung Galaxy Pocket 2 has that 3.3 inch 240 x 320 display with the 121 ppi pixels density. The size of the device is almost the same to the previous version with 109.9 x 60.8 x 11.7 mm. Inside the device there is a 1 GHz Cortex-A7 processor supported with 512 mb of RAM. The device comes up with the 4 GB built in memory with the micro SD card support of upto 32GB.
For camera phone lovers this device is not as good as it should have been. The makers tends to put the same 2 megapixel camera unit mounted on the back of the device, while there is no front camera on the device.
The device has support for Dual SIM connectivity with the 3G stand by support for both SIM, beside this the Samsung Galaxy Pocket 2 has the Bluetooth v4.0, A2DP while it supports the latest USB 2.0 connectivity as well. The Galaxy Pocket 2 comes up with the 1,200 mAH battery which is good enough for the whole day use.
The price list of the device is around $100 in most asian markets and the device will be made available in Whit and Charcoal black variants.
