Some might call it useless move as Samsung adds dozens of new phones with merely any changes in the previous models but some found it helpful. Whatever it is, Samsung seems to introduce whatever they can and so we got the new phones and these are the variants of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with some new features and names. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo and the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo LTE+. Both smartphones have been announced by the company today.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo and Neo LTE + will be made available in three different colors, the standard White, Black and a new entrance of green model. The devices will be made available for sale in this month for different markets. However there isn’t any specific date and price tags announced yet.
Now jumping into the specs sheet shows us that these Galaxy Note 3 variants are more of a Mid range smartphones just like we have seen the Mini variants of Galaxy S3 and S4 previously. Both Galaxy Note 3 Neo and Ne0 LTE+ have the same sized 5.5 inched screens and have the lower standard 1280 x 720 p resolution as compared to the 5.7 inched Full-HD display on the Galaxy Note 3. Both the devices have the same 16 GB of internal memory out of which 11GB is available for users, more over it can be expandable with micro SD card slot option available.
As we jump inside we found that the Note 3 Neo have the Quad-Core 1.6 GHZ processor with 2 GB of on board RAM while the Note 3 Neo LTE+ has a Quad Core 1.7 GHz A15 processor with the feature of 4G LTE connectivity as seen in the name of the device. The LTE version has the Dual SIM options and is also called Galaxy Note 3 Neo Duos. Both phones have the same 13 megapixel camera on the back while there is another 2 megapixel on the front both cameras can shoot full HD 1080 p videos.
We can both these devices as the higher end phones except the mid range processor fixed inside. We are not sure when the phones will be available in the market but the official press release have shown that they will be ready for shipment and will be made available to the world wide Samsung markets, thanks to Samsung’s most efficient and wide spread marketing sites. This is why we can’t image Samsung being able to keep up with updates on all of these especially pushing variants of the same device with different chips in different locales.
So this will end up with the addition of two more smartphones just before the launch of Samsung Galaxy S5 which is also expected to pop up this February and the whole world is anticipating.
