Samsung has been looking forward to make an Android tablet powered by an Intel Atom processor. In this regard both companies has shake hands and ready to work on this device. According to the reports the first Intel processor tablet will debut in the coming months will be Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1. The reports leaked in this regard claims that the tablet will be a high-end 10.1-inch tablet which could have a HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 800.
The device will be packed with an Intel Atom Z2560 processor which will be accompanied with a Power VR SGX 544 MP2 GPU, and together they are going to perform very well. So we can regard this as a Gaming and high valued graphics designing tablet, despite the fact that Android didn’t have such power consuming graphical apps or games as those present for Windows and Mac OS.
The recently discovered GLBenchmark stats revealed that the upcoming Samsung tablet will be Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 ( which shows the size of the display), with indications of 1st Intel Atom processor. Other details that we can see in this GLBenchmark report suggests that the device will be the presence of 1 GB RAM, a 3-megapixel camera, a 7,000 mAh battery, which seems to be quite enough for such a power consuming set of processors. Moreover the device will be loaded with latest Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
Samsung has traditionally relied on ARM-based processors such as its in-house Exynos line or Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chips to power its devices. A deal with Samsung, the world’s largest mobile vendor, would greatly benefit Intel as it attempts to increase its share in the mobile market. The most recent rumors claim the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 will launch in late June or early July.
