The Japanese Smartphone makers Sony has officially announced the latest addition to its vast Xperia series range with the launching of new Xperia M smartphone which is mostly categorized in a mid-range mid level smartphone which has a 4-inch display with 854 x 480 pixel resolution at 245 pixels-per-inch density. This new addition shows the same level of design that has been used in the Xperia Z flagship phone of Sony, since then we have seen the design in many other Xperia smartphones like Xperia P, XR and SP.
The newly unveiled Sony XPeria M smartphone possess a 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 model processor which is supported with an additional Graphic processing unit Adreno 305 which is regarded to be the best GPU for mobile devices, moreover the device also have 1GB of RAM which will support its speed and performance. The device also has a 5-megapixel camera capable of shooting HD 720p videos at 30 frames per second having a Exmor RS sensor. But the secondary camera is just 0.3 megapixel shooter with average video calling. The device came up in two variants, A single SIM and a Dual-SIM having the 4GB built in memory supported with an extra slot for microSD card which can help in an increase of extra 32GB of memory.
The phone doesn’t have 4G capabilities but does support 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC – it’ll come with bundled-in sharing apps to enable wireless data transfer between devices.
The Xperia M is loaded with slightly older version of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with having sony’s very own UI is all over it. We haven’t found any specific date of the release of Xperia M to the market, and there is even yet no news about the fixed and the final price. But we are sure that it will sit alongside the mid-range. The device will come up in many colors as shown in these images posted below.
