It seems that the makers at Sony are ready once again to introduce their future flagship device the Sony Xperia Z4 as some North Korean hackers have hacked heaped into their private data. There was some data buried deep inside in some confidential emails showing some design and shapes of the Sony Xperia Z4 device.
So we can expect that the Xperia Z4 will be released within a couple of months time, however we have no official news of the device to be released any time sooner then this, despite the fact that Sony has released Xperia Z3 just after 6 months of the release of Xperia Z2. So the release of all the data in the email revealed some more info about the device.
By now you no doubt heard about Sony Picture’s recent troubles with North Korean hackers . While it’s fun to gawk at movies that could have been, no one could have guessed that buried deep inside Sony’s leaked emails was a sales pitch for still unannounced Sony Xperia Z4. We have gathered a new spectrum of leaked images of the Sony Xperia Z4 which is most probably the future flagship device to be announced later.
Here are some more images of the concept design of the device with some of the leaked specs list showing the device having the same 5.2 inches display as seen in the Xperia Z3 but the display is much more sharper with the 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution with 565 ppi pixel density. There are some reports that the device will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with the latest 64-bit technology and will be supported with 4 GB of RAM and another powerful Adreno 400+ GPU.
As far as camera is concerned the device will have 20. megapixel main camera mounted at the back of the device as seen in the images, with the capacity of shooting some HD 5248 х 3936 pixels images and having features like auto-focus, LED flash, 1/2.3” sensor size, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, panorama. There will be yet another camera at the front of the device with 2.2 megapixel shooting capability.
As part of a product placement pitch from Sony Electronics for the new James Bond flick (Spectre) — in which Sony Pictures is charges upwards of 5 million as part of a “Daniel Craig fee” — we get some pretty clear renders of what the email clearly labels as the new “Z4 phones.” The design, while familiar, showcases 2 very different designs, so it’s tough to know how early of a look this might be. Or which will eventually be the model we see at launch. One model (pictured below) is closer to the current Xperia Z3, featuring glass on the front and back, although a much more chiseled “resin” frame. The other (pictured above) shows a phone with rounded corners and a soft, cushiony leather like material on the back.
