The iOS App Store grew by leaps and bounds in 2013, with a ton of new games and other apps being released. There are only a few, though, that most of us simply cannot live without. These are the cream of the crop, the best of the best…the top 10 iOS Apps in 2013. The list includes all type of apps including some games as well.

With the latest branded iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C in the markets loaded with Christmas discount, the owners of iPhone have increased dramatically. So have decieded to gather the top 10 must have apps for your iOS device. The best thing is that most of the  apps are free but we have checked them personally and picked them out of 1000’s of apps and created this must have apps list.

1. Angry Birds Go

It’s little surprise that Angry Birds Go is such a hit on the iOS App Store. Those irritable avians have captured the attention of the gaming world like nothing else can rival. In this iteration of the Angry Birds world, the birds and piggies are downhill racers rushing down a trick filled with obstacles, special powers to give you an edge over the other racers and mischievous foes who want nothing more than to force you off the track. In this first-ever 3D Angry Birds game, you can choose to be the birds or the piggies and race to triumph.

2. Traffic Racer

In Traffic Racer, your goal is to drive your car through highway traffic, earning cash to upgrade your car and buy new cars. You can also customize your car’s paint job and wheel styles. The game features gorgeous 3D graphics, realistic car handling, and over 15 different traffic models. There are 4 environments to drive in: suburb, desert, snowy, and city night. To keep things interesting, 4 different game modes are available to play: endless, two-way, time trial and free ride. The game features a global leaderboard, so you can see how your driving stacks up against your friends and other players.

3. Evernote

Evernote is the ultimate productivity tool, letting you take notes, capture photographs, jot down to-do lists, and record voice reminders. The notes you store in Evernote are completely searchable, and sync across your different devices and PCs or Macs. Organization of your ideas becomes a snap as you create different notebooks for different projects and ideas, as well as tagging notes so you can search by the tag. You can even share your notes with your friends and colleagues via Facebook and Twitter. New York Times named Evernote as a “Top 10 Must-Have App,” and the app won the TechCrunch Crunchies, Mashable Awards, and Webbies.

4. Snapchat

Snapchat has proven to be insanely popular among the teenage crowd, even rivaling veteran social network Facebook. Through Snapchat, you can snap a photo or video, add a caption, and send it to a friend or ten. They’ll receive your captioned photo, have a laugh, and then the picture will disappear to make room for other snaps.

5. Pages

Pages is a gorgeous and fully-functional word processor for your iOS device. You can create beautiful reports, resumes and documents in minutes. iCloud is built into Pages, so all of your documents are kept up to date across all of your devices and your Mac. Sharing documents with Pages is a snap, allowing you to share just the link to your document on (accessible by PC or Mac), or you can export your file as a Word document. Apple has included more than 60 templates to help you get started quickly, and the templates rival those found here in terms of quality and attractiveness.

6. Fantastical 2

Fantastical 2 is calendars and reminders done the right way, the way Apple should have programmed the Calendar and Reminders apps. Using plain English, you can quickly and easily enter calendar items and reminders. For example, if you type “Board Meeting at Panera on Friday at 5pm,” Fantastical will create the calendar entry for you, automatically filling in all the right fields. Fantastical 2 supports the exact same calendaring services as the built-in Calendar app, including iCloud, Google Calendar, Exchange, and others. If your phone supports it, Fantastical 2 even supports dictation, so you can dictate your appointments instead of typing them.

7. Dropbox

Dropbox is the service Steve Jobs wanted iCloud to destroy, but Dropbox is still going strong. With the Dropbox app, you can have bring all of your photos, documents, and videos anywhere you want. You can share the files among all of your computers, iPhones, iPads, and the Dropbox website. Dropbox gives you 2GB of free online storage, with options to earn more free space (I’m up to 17.8GB of free space). You can share individual files or entire folders with your friends and colleagues, giving them access to files you want to collaborate on. The app supports viewing many file types, such as Word documents, PDFs, images, and more.

8. Skitch :Snap, Markup, Send

Skitch allows you to mark up photos and PDF files. You can label the insides of a robot, mark a spot on a map to show someone where they need to go, or circle the misspelled word on your company’s sales PDF. Or, you can use Skitch to help mark a screen shot to show a user what to look for. The possibilities are almost endless, and the best part is that images you edit and mark up in Skitch are automatically saved to your Evernote notebooks, if you’re an Evernote user.

9. Minecraft Pocket Edition

Describing Minecraft Pocket Edition in 100 words or less would be next to impossible. In a nutshell, Minecraft is about mining precious materials, building things by placing blocks, and going on adventures. Based on the popular PC game, Minecraft Pocket Edition includes both Survival and Creative modes and thousands of possible items to create. Minecraft PE supports multi-player mode either on a local network or the Realms online servers. Download with caution, because the game is highly addictive!

The Netflix app allows you to access your Netflix instant streaming account from your iPhone or iPad. You can watch movies, TV shows, or just browse the listings. Netflix is the world’s leading subscription service for watching TV episodes and movies on your phone, allowing you to enjoy a free month of service if you’re signing up as a first-time Netflix user. The app allows you to watch your content on your iPhone or iPad, but it also supports video out from certain devices, so you can plug your iPad or iPhone into your television set and watch the movie or TV show on your television.
