Verizon Rolls Out Software Update to Fix Connectivity Issues on Galaxy Note 5


Few weeks ago, many Galaxy Note 5 owners of Verizon variant started to complain about the connectivity issues found on their devices. Verizon users faced connectivity problems after they installed the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update on Galaxy Note 5.

The US carrier has taken notice of the issues to solve it for the concerning customers. For this purpose, it has pushed a minor software update on Galaxy Note 5. The update comes with the build number MMB29K.N920VVRU2BPC2.

The update comes with fixes to the connectivity issues, security patches as well as several improvements.

Verizon says; “This software update has been tested to optimize device performance, resolve known issues and apply the latest security patches.”

The update will fix following issues:

  • Trouble connecting to the internet
  • Frequent data disconnection
  • Problems while loading files or web pages

If you are using Verizon variant of Galaxy Note 5 then it’s a good time to solve the connectivity issues on the device by installing the update. The update may take awhile to reach your device but if you are one  of the lucky customers who have already got the notification then it’s your time to download and install the update. For this purpose, you need to connect your device to a Wi-Fi network or keep your Verizon Wireless network connection on and make sure that the battery is fully charged before starting the update.
