Finally we have got the specific date for the announcement of most talked about Motorola phone the Moto X. There was too much buzz about this particular device all over the web. Since May we have start receiving the leaked images and some rumored specs sheet with some 3D rendered designs. But now finally we got the unveiling date which is August 1st which is start of next week and the venue of the event will be New York City.
There have been a lot of rumors about the specs of the device but we have some authentic news leaked by the most acclaimed source the @evleaks which has stated in their tweet that the Moto X will also have a CDMA variant as well, having a 4.5 inch display and has a Dual-Core 1.7 GHz Snapdragon MSM8960T processor. The device will also have 2 GB of RAM and a removable back cover.
The Moto X is expected to be running on Android 4.2.2 as the latest Android 4.3 is still to be announced yet. The device is expected to have the latest Google feature which have been already seen in the leaked videos. In the most recent rendered image as seen below, you can clearly see the back of the device is lightly textured. It had been seen in other Motorola smartphones but this new textured covers indicates more of a Nexus 4 design.
The camera can be seen fixed in the center with a ting LED flash on the bottom of it. A clear Motorola Logo is also seen engraved in the back cover with the speakers strip can bee seen adjacent to camera. There is another camera on the front of the device as well. While there are on the screen transparent key which will blink up when you need them.
Overall the design and specs of the Moto X seems to be good enough to put this new device in the list of top High-end Android smartphones. Here is what @evleaks spotted about the phone and shared it.

Update: Later today we come up with yet another leaked image of the Motorola Moto X but this time it’s the white variant. This confirms that the Moto X will be available in Black and White colors when it will be announced in the August 1st Event at New York.
