Nexus 7 is the best Android tablet form last 2 years but now may be Nexus 9 will take his place in ranking. But still millions of people are using Nexus 7 and in every device we face many issues, like in Nexus 7 the famous issue is WiFi problem. What i face is after my screen is off for few minutes and when i unlock it my device, my Wifi gets switched off and if i try to connect again I have to reboot my phone to start it. Well that’s not good at all because that means when ever my gets screen is locked I have to restart my device to connect with WiFi. How to Fix Nexus 7 Wi-fi issue:

Step 1: Install Wifi Fixer and run the app.

Step 2: Turn on/off Airplane mode.

OR

Step 1: Goto Settings.

Step 2: Click on wi-fi settings.

Step 3: Click the three dots at the top for more options.

Step 4: Tap on advance.

Step 5: Find keep your wi-fi on during sleep settings and select ” Never “.

Step 6: Now Turn off your screen with power button and wait for few seconds turn back on your screen.

I am sure that now your Nexus 7 Wifi issue will gone for good. If still you are facing that issue reboot your Nexus 7 and then it will work for sure.

If none of this work then try this ” As soon as your phone wakes up, goto settings ->Turn your airplane mode on/off, after this your phone will reconnect to the WiFi.

Step 1: Go to Settings on your Nexus 7.

Step 2: Tap on Wi-Fi

Step 3: Now long tap your SSID

Step 4: After that tap on Modify network

Step 5: Select ‘Show advanced options’ checkbox.

Step 6: Now change ‘IP settings’ from DHCP to Static.
