The Nexus 6 contender as most of the geeks already calling it, Motorola Droid Turbo is on the verge of release and the good news is that it will be available for Verizon users as well. We have got some reports about the AT&T and Sprint variants of the Motorola Droid Turbo but the Verizon site has proved all the rumors to be true after they published the upcoming device ads on their official front page.
The best thing about the Motorola Droid Turbo is that it runs on the Stock Android version and is most expected to have the latest version of Android 5.0 Lollipop loaded in it out of the box. Or even if it is not updated out of the box it will get the Android L update as mentioned in some leaked reports. The second thing that make it unique is the huge 3,900 mAh battery that no other smartphone has got yet. The makers believe that it can run your Droid Turbo for more then 48 Hours.
There are yet no reports of the release date or any fixed price for the Droid Turbo but one thing is for sure that this device will be made available on all U.S carrier networks and one of them is already confirmed with the ads posted on their website. The Motorola Droid can be regarded as a high end device with the 5.2 inch 1440 x 2560 pixels display with 565 ppi density. It owns a 2.7 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor found in the Nexus 6 unit. The process is supported with the 3 GB of RAM and Adreno GPU. The device will be made avaialable with the 32 GB internal memory while there will be a 21 megapixel camera unit attached at the back of the back capable of taking 4K videos.
The Droid Turbo is shaping up to be one of the more impressive phones on the market, and it likely won’t be long before we learn everything we need to know about it.
