If you are a Mac user then you are well aware of iPhoto automatically launches up when ever you connect your iPhone or iPad with Mac. May most of you like it this way, but not everyone thinks like it so today i’ll guide you how to stop iPhoto from launching every time you plug your iPhone/iPad. This works fine with some user’s that if they want to edit their photos, they can do it in just minutes. But i don’t find it effective because i don’t want iPhoto launches every time i plug my iPhone, because i don’t if its default feature or something just trigger iPhoto. Well in the following guide i’ll explain how you can easily stop iPhoto from automatically launching every time.
How To Stop iPhoto from launching every time you plug your iPhone/iPad:
Step 1: Click on the Apple logo on your Mac.
Step 2: Click on Preferences.
Step 3: For the “Connecting camera opens” option, make sure to select “No application.”.
Step 4: Now click on OK.
Step 5: Restart your Mac.
Step 6: Now connect you device (if still iPhoto launches up try the steps below.)
Step 7: Open iPhoto on your Mac.
Step 8: Menu bar, go to iPhoto > Preferences.
Step 9: Repeat the third Step again.
