We were greeted with a pleasant surprise when Google dropped the price of the Nexus 4 down to $199 for 8GB model and $249 for the 16GB.
Google Play notified us on 27th August on Twitter that they have lowered the price of Nexus 4 from now that will be 25% off in Australia, Canada, Germany, Spain, Korea, US, UK and France.
As we know that Google Nexus 7 is available internationally, this may be the reason for dropping down of price of the Old Nexus 4.
Since before, the Nexus 4 was also the one of best deals available on its unlocked pricing but a new price drop has brought it to the point where you might pick up one on impulse to be a backup device. Nexus 4 is pretty much the best smartphone deal for stock Android lovers who hate carrier contracts. This turn is related to speculation that we could soon see an announcement for the Nexus 5.
Now take a look on Nexus 4 specs, Nexus 4 runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and has a 4.7 inch 1280 x 768p display with an 8 Mega pixel Camera and 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 pro quad core processor. It can be used on either AT&T or T Mobiles network.
So, it also has to keep in mind that the nexus 4 only works on AT&T and T-Mobile’s networks and does not have LTE functionality.
In understanding Nexus 4, The Motorola Moto X is a closer match as far as Nexus 4 specs.
