Samsung, a South Korean company, after releasing the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update on Galaxy S5 in its home country just a few days ago, has also started to roll out the update for the owners in Trinidad and Tobago.
Samsung usually releases the first update of Android OS in its homeland then it is followed by international rollout for other markets. Therefore, update OTA rollout for Galaxy S5 in Trinidad and Tobago after South Korea hinted that other countries will also be getting the update soon.
The update is projected for the Galaxy S5 SM-G900M version, making it the second variant with Marshmallow after the update on South Korean SM-G900L. The OTA number G900MUBU1CPC3 will upgrade the software version to 6.0.1. The OTA update is packed with same Marshmallow features like Google Now on Tap, battery saving Doze mode, 200 new emojis, the run time app permissions, app links and direct sharing options.
If you are the owner of the Galaxy S5 from Trinidad and Tobago then you can check the update availability by heading into settings > About Phone > System updates > check for update. The update carries the 1.47GB volume.
Last month, Samsung released the marshmallow update for Galaxy S6 variants in South Korea and after two weeks, it started to rollout the update for S6 device worldwide.
