How To Install iOS 8.1.2 Update on your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch:
- iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5 and iPhone 4s
- iPad Air, iPad 4, iPad 3 and iPad 2
- Retina iPad mini, 1st gen iPad mini
- 5th generation iPod touch
Step 1: Before proceeding further Please make Backup of your device.
Step 2: Connect your device with iTunes.
Step 3: Download iOS 8.1.2 IPSW Firmware for your device form here.
Step 4: Now from your keyboard press & hold ALT/Option Key and click on Check for Updates.
Step 5: A new Windows will pop-up, choose the file you have downloaded in Step 3.
Step 6: After selecting the ipsw file, you’ll see a pop-up saying Tunes will update your iPhone/iPad/iPod touch to iOS 8.1.2 and will verify with Apple. Click on Update.
Step 7: A new windows will open with the change log of iOS 8.1.2. Click on OK.
Step 8: Now iTunes will start the updating process.
Step 9: Don’t disconnect your device until upgrading process is complete.
When the upgrading process is done your device will reboot. Once you see Hello screen after your device is rebooted that means your device is updated to iOS 8.1.2.
