Huawei Honor 5C

Huawei, the most successful Chinese smartphone manufacturer has managed to sell 108 million smartphones last year. Now for this year, they have more big plans as the company intends to ship 140 million recently introduced Huawei P9 and P9 Plus flagships.

Adding to that, Huawei is going to announce another smartphone namely Honor 5C in this month. The non-premium Honor 4C was also announced in April last year and showed a high number of sales. The company has already teased about the arrival of the next Honor C and some leaks have mentioned two launch dates, April 13th and April 28th. Probably, Huawei will also release more teasers before the announcement.

However, the device recently has been passed by the TENAA, which is a Chinese Certification institution equivalent to FCC.

According to TENAA’s listings, the Huawei Honor C5 will come with 5.1-inch FullHD 1080p display supported by Kirin 650 64-bit octa-core SoC, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage with 128GB as external storage option via microSD card, 13MP back snapper, and an 8MP front facing camera. The smartphone will come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow as default Android version. More interestingly device will have Huawei’s own Emotion UI (EMUI) skin.

If we look at the device, we can find the ‘Honor’ branding below the display and a fingerprint scanner below the back rear-facing camera sensor. Furthermore, we can see LED flash near the camera and physical keys of the volume rocker and power lock on right-hand side of the phone. The Honor 5C will be 147.1 x 73.8 x 8.33mm thin and will weigh 156 grams.
