Sony is already alleged to be launching the new phablet device of its non-premium Xperia C series line-up namely Xperia C6 this year. The 6-inch Japanese maker’s next smartphone phablet is leaked in images shows a front facing flash along with the large front camera. From leaked images, we could catch a glimpse of what to expect in Xperia C6 design and specs, though with a bit of uncertainty with the name.
However, the design we can see in the images fairly approaches with the 2015’s Xperia C5 and the upcoming Xperia XA, the sibling to Xperia X. The phone allegedly to come with minimal side bezels and have a dual SIM card support too. The phone is also rumored to feature a MediaTek chipset.
The next C-series device by the Japanese company is in the testing phase but we could not confirm yet that the images leaked at Baidu belongs to the upcoming Xperia C6 but surely we will have more news and updates in near future if the Sony Mobile is going to launch next Xperia C-series device soon.
The predecessor to Xperia C6 was C5 Ultra, which was launched in August 2015. The C5 Ultra phablet has 6-inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixel. The device is also powered with 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Soc. The C5 Ultra came with the Android 5.0 Lollipop as default Android OS version. Hopefully, the next device of C series will be coming with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
