How pet income works

Each pet earns money per second for your base. According to the Steal An Egg Wiki (October 5, 2026), a pet’s income depends on its rarity, its size and its mutation. Your total income is every equipped pet added together. That money pays for treadmill upgrades, trails and base upgrades. See the speed calculator for the Speed gates those upgrades unlock.

Steal An Egg mutation multipliers

The games.gg mutations guide (September 8, 2026) lists these multipliers:

Size is separate from mutation. Each pet also has a weight in kilograms, and games.gg says a size bonus applies independently of the mutation. Other guides disagree on some values and list newer mutations such as Fractured and Parasite, so treat these numbers as community measurements. Roblox does not publish an official list, and the game changes often.

• For each pet, type the income shown in game before any mutation bonus. Short forms such as 850K, 3.5M and 1.2B work.
• Pick the pet’s mutation, or None.
• Use + Add pet or Remove last pet to match the number of slots in your pen.
• Optionally enter your current cash and the cost of your next goal to see how long you need to wait.

Tips to raise your income

• Replace your weakest slot first. The calculator shows which pet earns least.
• Compare mutation against rarity. A 3x Spirit Bloom pet only beats a higher-rarity pet if its base income is more than a third of that pet’s income.
• Do not fuse mutated pets carelessly. Guides report a high chance of losing the mutation when you fuse mixed pets. See the fuse calculator.

How do I calculate my income in Steal An Egg?

Add up the income per second of every pet in your pen. If a pet’s displayed income does not already include its mutation, multiply it by the mutation value.

Which mutation is best?

On the games.gg list, Spirit Bloom (3x) is highest, followed by Rainbow (2.5x) and Golden (2x). Spirit Bloom only comes from the Sakura Incubator.

Do the numbers change?
