You need exactly three copies of the same pet to use the Fuse Machine in Roblox Steal an Egg. All three pets are consumed to create one upgraded pet.

Does fusing guarantee a mutation in Steal an Egg?

No, fusing regular pets gives a random chance at rolling a mutation. Fusing a mutated pet with standard unmutated duplicates often removes the mutation entirely.

When should you fuse pets in Steal an Egg?

Only fuse duplicate pets when your fenced base pen is completely full. Fusing when you have empty slots lowers your total active CPS.

Can you undo a pet fusion in Steal an Egg?

No. The three sacrifice pets are permanently consumed when the Fuse button is activated in the machine.

Fusing is random, so the result is your own estimate. The calculator checks whether the trade pays off if you get that result.

How the Fuse Machine works

Three of the same pet: all three must share the same rarity and type, such as three T-Rexes or three Lava Dragons (GameRant fuse machine guide, September 23, 2026).
The result is random: you can get a regular fused pet instead of a large one, and the outcome is not guaranteed.
It costs money: every fusion has a fee.
Weight matters: weight and rarity decide the egg size, and the egg hatches into the same pet.
Where it is: on the left side of the lobby near the Sell Shop. Press E at the side lever, add pets with the green + button, then click the money bar.

Do mutations survive fusing?

Not always. The games.gg mutations guide (September 8, 2026) says fusing three pets that all carry the same mutation preserves it. Fusing three unmutated pets with one mutated pet is likely to drop the mutation. GameRant also warns about fusing Luminous or Rainbow pets.

The same guide recommends Secret, Eternal and Divine pets, and says Mythic, Cosmic and lower rarities make fusing a lot more grindy.

Secret Fusion Shrine

The Secret Fusion Shrine is separate from the Fuse Machine. The Steal An Egg Wiki places it behind a waterfall in the Angels and Demons biome, which needs 20B Speed (see the speed calculator). GameRant lists two shrine recipes: a Pegasus plus a Skeleton Horse makes Equinox (Eternal, $1.8B/s), and an ArchAngel plus a World Burner makes Aetheron (Divine, $6.9B/s). You can then feed those into the Fuse Machine.

How to use the calculator

Enter the income of each of the three pets. Short forms such as 240M or 1.2B work.
Enter the income you expect from the fused pet. This is your estimate, because fusing is random.
Enter the egg grow time in hours and the fusion fee, if you know them.
If your pen is full, add the income of the pets you would place in the two freed slots.
Read the verdict and the break-even time.

Should you fuse?

Fuse when the pets are spare duplicates, not your best earners.
Keep mutated pets out of mixed fusions.
Check the net change per second first. If the result earns less than the pets you give up, skip it.
Compare with your current pen using the income calculator.
