Below is the complete verified list of all 24 AOE4 Dynasties of the East cheat codes, updated.

What Are the AOE4 Dynasties of the East Codes?

AOE4 Dynasties Of The East Codes are special commands that alter gameplay. They can provide instant resources, spawn unique units, or change game mechanics. These codes were first added to the game in the Season Three Update, much to the delight of players.

Using cheat codes will disable achievements and masteries for that game session. Therefore, they are perfect for casual fun and experimentation, but should be avoided in serious competitive play.

How to Redeem Cheat Codes in Age of Empires IV

Using cheats in AOE4 is a straightforward process. Just follow these simple steps.

Start a game. Begin a custom game, skirmish, or campaign mission.
Enable cheats in settings. Before starting, you must check the “Cheats” or “Cheats Allowed” box in the Game Mode or Game Setup menu.
Open the chat box. Press the ‘Enter’ key during gameplay to open the text chat.
Type the code. Enter the desired code exactly as shown. The codes are not case-sensitive.
Activate the cheat. Press ‘Enter’ again to submit the code. A notification will confirm its activation.

Remember, cheat units always spawn at your main Town Center. You will need to re-enter codes each time you start a new game session.

Expert Tips and Recommendations

Mastering the use of cheats can enhance your gameplay experience beyond just messing around.

Plan your unit spawning. Cheat units like the Photon Man always appear at your main Town Center. Ensure the area is clear and secure before spawning them.
Combine codes for maximum effect. Use smorgasbord for infinite resources, then inna jiffy to build a massive army and base instantly.
Use anti-poke strategically. Make your Wonder invulnerable to easily win Wonder Victory games, or protect key economic buildings from enemy raids.
Experiment in custom games. Since cheats disable progression, custom games against AI are the perfect sandbox to test new strategies and crazy combinations without penalty.
Explore the new expansion. The Crucible roguelite mode and the four new variant civilizations are a great playground for experimenting with these codes.

Common Challenges and Solutions

Players often encounter a few common issues when using cheats. Here are the solutions.

Cheats not working. The most common fix is to ensure the “Cheats Allowed” box is checked in the game setup before you start the match.
Codes are not case-sensitive. If a code fails, double-check your spelling and spacing. It is best to type everything in lowercase.
Achievements are blocked. This is intentional. To earn achievements and complete masteries, you must play without entering any cheat codes in that session.
Units not appearing. Remember that spawned units appear at your primary Town Center. If it is destroyed, new units cannot be spawned until a new one is built.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will using cheats affect my game progress?

Yes. Entering any cheat code in a game session will permanently disable the ability to earn achievements, complete masteries, or gain progress towards in-game challenges for that session.

Can I use cheat codes in multiplayer games?

No, cheat codes are strictly limited to single-player experiences. They cannot be used in ranked or unranked multiplayer matches. They are only available in custom games, skirmishes vs. AI, and the campaign.

What is the most useful resource cheat code?

The smorgasbord Code is widely considered the most useful. It grants you 100,000 of every resource (food, wood, gold, and stone) at once, effectively removing all economic constraints.

Why are my cheat codes not working?

First, confirm you enabled the “Cheats Allowed” setting before starting the game. Second, check that you have typed the code correctly, without any typos or incorrect spacing. The codes are not case-sensitive, but the spelling must be perfect.
