Emerald Seaglass Codes: Best [October 2026]

Pokémon Emerald Seaglass codes are updated for version 3.0, the latest release of this fan-made Game Boy Advance ROM hack. Version 3.0 brings a new title-screen background, Brendan and May as protagonists with fresh sprites, updated Gym Leader, Elite Four, and Team Aqua and Magma overworld sprites, new item icons, and balance tweaks such as Aggron learning Dragon Dance, Spinda getting Superpower and Fiery Dance, and the Light Ball now working with Pichu, Raichu, and Spiky-Ear Pichu. Its built-in cheat system is still the easiest way to power up your Hoenn adventure, so redeem the working gift codes below for free Rare Candies, Master Balls, starter Pokémon, and more.

These cheats are official gifts from the game’s creator, Nemo622, and are entered safely from within the game itself. To activate them, you simply need to find the Cheat Device inside your character’s home in Littleroot Town and input the provided gift codes.

Verify these codes on the official Pokémon Emerald Seaglass cheat-codes page.

How to Redeem Emerald Seaglass Cheats

Using cheats in this ROM hack is straightforward but differs from using an emulator’s cheat menu. Follow these steps precisely.

Go to your room. You must be inside your house in Littleroot Town, where your journey began.
Find the Cheat Device. Interact with the electronic device located beside the TV in your room.
Boot up the device. Selecting it will prompt you to enter a “Gift Code.”
Enter your code. Carefully type one of the case-sensitive cheat codes into the field.
Confirm activation. If the code is valid, you will receive the items or Pokémon directly into your bag or party.

Best Practices and Common Mistakes to Avoid

To ensure a smooth experience with cheats, keep these tips in mind.

Always create a backup save. Before using any cheats, use your emulator’s save state feature or create a backup of your ROM file. This protects your progress from potential glitches.
Double-check code accuracy. The codes are case-sensitive. Ensure you are entering them exactly as shown, with no spaces before or after.
Ensure party space for Pokémon. If you do not receive a starter Pokémon or other creature, check your party. If it is full, deposit a Pokémon to make room and try again.
Redeem codes in your room. The Cheat Device only works from inside your house in Littleroot Town. You cannot access this menu anywhere else.
Troubleshoot invalid codes. If you get an “invalid code” message, double-check the spelling. If it persists, leave your house and re-enter to reset the device before trying again. Follow the official Pokémon Facebook group for new updates.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Why are my Emerald Seaglass codes not working?

The most common reasons are incorrect spelling or case sensitivity. Ensure you are entering the code exactly as provided. Also, confirm that you are using the built-in Cheat Device in your room and not an emulator’s external cheat menu.

Can I use normal Pokémon Emerald cheat codes?

No, you cannot. Pokémon Emerald Seaglass is a modified ROM hack with its own unique system. Standard GameShark or Action Replay codes for the original Pokémon Emerald will not work and could potentially corrupt your save file.

What is the cheat code for Rare Candies?

The official cheat code to get 99 Rare Candies is 9RARECANDY. Enter this code into the Cheat Device in your room to receive the items instantly.

How do I get all starters in Emerald Seaglass?

You can get all starters from the Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn regions by using their respective codes: ILOVEKANTO, ILOVEJOHTO, and ILOVEHOENN. Check your PC or party if they do not appear in your party immediately.

Is there a cheat to complete the Pokedex?

While there is no code to complete the Pokedex directly, the JUSTSHOWME cheat unlocks the complete DexNav. This allows you to see every Pokémon that can be found in each area, making it much easier to track them down and complete your dex.
