MLBB Hero Tier List: Stop Losing Stars and Start Dominating (2026)

Look, we have all been there. You load into a Ranked game, confident in your main hero. You have played them for hundreds of matches, you know the combos, and you even bought the starlight skin. But then, ten minutes in, you are 0-5, your turret is gone, and the enemy Jungler is one-shotting you before you can even blink.

It is frustrating. It makes you want to throw your phone across the room.

The harsh reality of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is that skill only gets you so far. The meta shifts constantly. A hero that was a god-tier pick last season might be completely useless today because of a single patch note. If you are not paying attention to the MLBB Hero Tier List, you are essentially bringing a knife to a gunfight.

MLBB Heroes Tier List

I wrote this guide because I am tired of seeing good players get stuck in Epic or Legend simply because they are picking the wrong heroes. You don’t have time to test every single character yourself. You need to know who works now.

This Mobile Legends Bang Bang Hero Value List is your cheat sheet. It is built on data from Mythical Glory+ matches and the current professional scene in Season 39. We are going to break down exactly who you should be banning, picking, and avoiding if you want to climb.

You can also check the Tier list of other games here, including Rogue Piece, GFL2, Rainbow Six Siege Operator, Echocalypse, Azur Lane, DeadLock, Arknights Endfield, and Solo Hunters Tier List.

How to Read This MLBB Hero Tier List

Before you look at the rankings, let’s establish some ground rules. A “bad” hero in the hands of a specialist can still win games, but it is going to be an uphill battle. We want to make your life easier, not harder.

  • Tier S+ (The Ban or Pick): These heroes are currently broken. They define the meta. If they are open, you pick them. If you can’t play them, you ban them. Period.
  • Tier S (The Meta Staples): These are strong, reliable picks that fit into almost any team composition. They rarely lose their lane and have high impact in team fights.
  • Tier A (The Balanced Choices): Great heroes that are perfectly viable but might need a specific team setup or a skilled pilot to really shine.
  • Tier B/C (The Situational Picks): These are risky. They usually get outclassed by higher-tier heroes unless you are a master with them or the enemy draft has a glaring weakness you can exploit.

Breaking Down the Meta: Who to Pick in Season 39

The raw data in the list above is great, but let’s talk about why these heroes are dominating the current MLBB Hero Tier List. Understanding the “why” is what separates a Legend player from a Mythic one.

The Jungle: Speed and Objectives

Right now, the Jungle role is dominated by heroes who can clear camps instantly and rotate to the Turtle before the enemy even knows what happened.

  • Sora and Yi Sun-shin: These two are currently the kings of the jungle. Their ability to secure objectives and provide map vision (in YSS’s case) gives your team a massive information advantage.
  • Fredrinn: He refuses to leave the meta. He is still the premier “Tank Jungler” because he offers so much crowd control and durability, allowing your team to play aggressively without a traditional roamer tank.

The Gold Lane: Attack Speed vs. Burst

The Gold Lane is currently a war between high-sustain attack speed heroes and pure burst damage.

  • Ixia: She has risen to the top of the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Hero Value List because her ultimate can essentially win a team fight on its own if positioned correctly.
  • Wanwan: Despite constant nerfs, her mobility makes her a nightmare for the current meta fighters who rely on hitting skill shots. If you have fast fingers, she is still S-tier.

The Roam: Healers are Back

For a while, hard engage tanks were the only option. Now, we are seeing a resurgence of “Support” roamers.

  • Floryn and Mathilda: These two provide so much sustain and utility that they make their teammates unkillable. Mathilda’s ability to give her team a free “dash” out of danger is arguably the best utility skill in the game right now.
  • Tigreal: If you must play a tank, Tigreal is the one. His buffs have made him a crowd-control monster who can reset a losing team fight with a single well-timed ultimate.

Tips for Climbing Solo Queue

Having the MLBB Hero Tier List is one thing; using it is another. Here is how to apply this knowledge when you are playing alone.

  1. Don’t Force S-Tier Picks: If you have never played Fanny, do not pick her in Ranked just because she is high on the list. A well-played A-Tier hero beats a poorly played S-Tier hero every time.
  2. Counter-Picking Matters: Use the list to understand matchups. If the enemy picks a heavy shield hero like Esmeralda, look for counters in the A or S tiers (like Dyrroth) rather than blind picking.
  3. Adapt to Bans: In Mythic lobbies, the S+ heroes will almost always be banned. You need to be comfortable playing at least three heroes in the S or A tier for your main role, so you don’t get choked out of the draft.

Final Thoughts

The meta is a living thing. It breathes and changes with every patch. What works today in 2026 might not work next month. Always check for the updated patch notes of the game. However, sticking to the top of this MLBB Hero Tier List gives you the statistical advantage you need to push through those frustrating loss streaks.

Stop trying to make Layla work in the Jungle. Respect the meta, learn the top heroes, and go get those stars.
