Mystical Blooks in Blooket (2026): The Complete Guide to All 5 Rarest Blooks
What Are Mystical Blooks in Blooket? Mystical Blooks are the rarest Blook tier in all of Blooket, ranking above Unique, Chroma, and Legendary in the rarity hierarchy. There are currently 5 Mystical Blooks in existence, and as of 2026, none of them are obtainable by any player.
The answer to “how to get Mystical Blooks in Blooket” is simple: you cannot, unless Blooket announces a new event with a new Mystical prize. Every existing Mystical Blook was awarded exclusively to the top performers in a limited-time Blooket-hosted competitive event. They cannot be unboxed from any pack, purchased in the Market, or earned through regular gameplay.
Here are the core facts about all Mystical Blooks:
- There are exactly 5 Mystical Blooks: Spooky Ghost, Tim the Alien, Phantom King, Rainbow Astronaut, and Hamsta Claus
- Every Mystical Blook sells for 1,000 tokens, the highest sell price in the game
- Each Mystical Blook adds a Blook Score of 75 to a player’s collection
- Mystical Blooks are the only rarity in Blooket where every single Blook is animated
- All 5 are permanently unobtainable in 2026; all awarding events have ended
This Axeetech’s special Blooket guide covers the complete stats table for all 5 Mysticals, individual breakdowns with event history and ownership counts, game mode appearances, rarity comparisons, an event participation guide for future Mysticals, and a full FAQ.

All 5 Mystical Blooks: Complete Stats at a Glance
No competing guide compiles all 5 Mystical Blooks into one stats table. The table below covers every key stat for every Mystical in a single place.
| Mystical Blook | Event Source | Year | Known Owners | Sell Price | Blook Score | Reskin Of | Game Modes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Spooky Ghost | Contest of Candy (Halloween) | 2020 | ~3 players | 1,000 tokens | 75 | Ghost (Common) | Crypto Hack, Santa’s Workshop, Monster Brawl, Cafe |
| Tim the Alien | Pokemon Are Cool (PAC) Event | 2021 | 2 players | 1,000 tokens | 75 | UFO (Rare) | Fishing Frenzy, Cafe |
| Phantom King | Potions of Pix’ahlia (PoP) Event | 2022 | ~50 players | 1,000 tokens | 75 | Phantom King (Legendary) | Tower Defense, Cafe |
| Rainbow Astronaut | LUNCH Event | 2022 | ~15 players | 1,000 tokens | 75 | Astronaut (Legendary) | Cafe only |
| Hamsta Claus | Contest of Candy (Christmas) | 2023 | Unknown | 1,000 tokens | 75 | Hamster + Santa Claus | Cafe only |
One important note: Spooky Ghost is the only retired Mystical Blook. The Contest of Candy changed from a Halloween theme to a Christmas theme in 2023. Spooky Ghost was retired as a result and replaced by Hamsta Claus. All other Mysticals remain in players’ collections but cannot be earned by anyone new.
What Makes Mystical Blooks Different from Every Other Blook
Mystical Blooks share several unique properties that separate them from every other Blook rarity in the game. Understanding these properties explains exactly why Mystical Blooks carry so much status in the Blooket community.
Every Mystical Blook is animated. No other Blook rarity can claim this. All 5 Mysticals have a continuous animation that plays on the Blooket platform, which makes them instantly recognizable. Furthermore, every Mystical (except Rainbow Astronaut) slowly levitates or moves in a repeating pattern during its animation.
Rainbow Astronaut is the exception. Instead of levitating, Rainbow Astronaut cycles through colors continuously: red, purple, yellow, blue, green, and orange. It is the only Blook in the entire game whose animation changes colors.
Animations do not play in Flappy Blook. The Fandom Wiki notes this is likely due to the lag animations would create in that specific game mode. In all other contexts, the animations run normally.
Mystical Blooks cannot be unboxed. They are one of three rarity types with no pack availability, alongside Commons and Uniques. There is no unboxing animation for Mysticals because opening a pack can never produce one.
All Mysticals are reskins. Every current Mystical Blook is visually based on a different existing Blook. Tim the Alien and Hamsta Claus are the only Mysticals not reskinned from a Legendary Blook. Tim is reskinned from the UFO (a Rare Blook). Hamsta Claus is reskinned from two Blooks simultaneously: the Hamster (Common) and Santa Claus.
All 5 Mysticals appear in Cafe. Regardless of which other game modes a Mystical joins, all 5 appear as customers in the Cafe game mode.

Every Mystical Blook Explained
Spooky Ghost: The First Mystical Blook (2020)
Spooky Ghost holds a specific place in Blooket history: it was the very first Mystical Blook ever introduced to the game. Its debut in 2020 established the Mystical rarity tier and set the template for how all future Mysticals would work.
Blooket’s Contest of Candy is an annual Halloween-themed competitive event. The 2019 edition had no prizes. In 2020, Blooket introduced prizes for the first time and the first-place winner received Spooky Ghost. This is the event origin that no competing article clearly explains.
Currently, approximately 3 known players own Spooky Ghost: Metella (also known by the username wat), AceOfSpadesOG, and Gogzi. Spooky Ghost is a reskin of the standard Ghost Blook, which is a Common rarity Blook, making it one of two Mysticals not based on a Legendary. It is the most game-mode-present of all Mysticals, appearing in Crypto Hack as a password, Santa’s Workshop as the Use the Force Glitch, Monster Brawl (Halloween version), and Cafe.
Spooky Ghost is now retired. In 2023, the Contest of Candy switched from a Halloween theme to a Christmas theme. Blooket retired Spooky Ghost and replaced it with Hamsta Claus as the new prize. Spooky Ghost is one of only two retired non-Chroma Blooks in the game, the other being Wise Owl, which is a Unique. Because the CoC theme change appears permanent, Spooky Ghost is irreversibly unobtainable.
Tim the Alien: The Rarest Mystical Blook in Existence
Tim the Alien is the crown jewel of Blooket collecting. Only 2 copies exist across the entire player base, making it the rarest Blook in the history of Blooket by ownership count.
The two copies were awarded to the players who tied for first place in the Pokemon Are Cool (PAC) event in 2021. The PAC event was a Blooket-sponsored competition rather than a standard seasonal event. The two winners are known in the Blooket community as okr765 and rainbow. Tim the Alien and Spooky Ghost are the only two Mysticals exclusively awarded to first place only; no second-place or additional distribution occurred.
Tim the Alien is a reskin of the UFO Blook, a Rare rarity Blook rather than a Legendary. It is the first Blook in Blooket to feature two characters within the same design: a green alien named Tim and a spinning Cow Blook rotating inside the UFO. The spinning Cow is the most unique animation detail because only one part of the Blook is animated, unlike other Mysticals where the entire Blook moves.
Tim the Alien appears in Fishing Frenzy, where it functions as one of the catchable Blooks. With the PAC event permanently ended and only 2 copies in existence, Tim the Alien will almost certainly never gain additional owners.
Phantom King: The Most Common Mystical Blook
Phantom King is the third Mystical introduced and holds the distinction of having the most known owners: approximately 50 players across the Blooket community.
It was awarded to the top 2 guilds in the Potions of Pix’ahlia (PoP) event in 2022. PoP was a guild-based competitive event, which meant results depended on team performance rather than individual rankings. The first-place guild originally won Phantom King. However, the second-place guild also received Phantom King after Blooket made a competitive integrity decision following a closely contested result. This dual distribution is the reason approximately 50 players own it rather than a much smaller number.
Phantom King is a reskin of the standard Phantom King Legendary Blook. It appears in Tower Defense and Cafe game modes. Despite being the most common Mystical, 50 owners across Blooket’s entire player base still represents extraordinary scarcity by any objective measure.
Rainbow Astronaut: The Only Color-Changing Blook
Rainbow Astronaut is the most visually distinct Mystical. It is the only Blook in the entire game whose animation cycles through multiple colors, which is a property no other Blook in any rarity tier shares.
Blooket created Rainbow Astronaut as the prize for the top team in the LUNCH event, which stands for Legendary Universal Never-before-Seen Championships of Hockey. The LUNCH event typically takes place in March. Approximately 15 players own Rainbow Astronaut. Two other Blooks, Tiger Zebra and White Peacock (both Chroma rarity), were also awarded in the LUNCH event alongside Rainbow Astronaut, but those are a different rarity tier.
The color animation cycles through red, purple, yellow, blue, green, and orange. Unlike all other Mysticals, Rainbow Astronaut does not levitate. Its animation consists entirely of the color shift rather than movement. Blooket founders Tom and Ben Stewart created Rainbow Astronaut directly. It is a reskin of the standard Astronaut Legendary Blook and appears only in Cafe outside of that context.
Hamsta Claus: The Newest Mystical Blook (2023)
Hamsta Claus is the most recently added Mystical and the direct replacement for Spooky Ghost as the Contest of Candy prize.
When Blooket changed the CoC event from Halloween to Christmas in 2023, it needed a new Christmas-themed Mystical to replace the retired Spooky Ghost. Hamsta Claus was awarded to the top 3 players on the leaderboard in the 2023 Contest of Candy Christmas edition. The prize structure expanded from 1st place only (as with Spooky Ghost) to the top 3 players.
Hamsta Claus is unique in two specific ways. First, it is the only Mystical that is simultaneously a reskin of two different Blooks: the Hamster (a free Common Blook) and Santa Claus. Second, it is the only Mystical invisible to players using hacks, which is an anomaly the community has noted but Blooket has never officially explained.
Hamsta Claus does not appear in any game modes outside of Cafe. The exact number of Hamsta Claus owners is not publicly confirmed by Blooket or verifiable through community records.
Mystical Blooks vs Other Rarity Tiers in Blooket
Players often ask how Mystical Blooks compare to Chromas, Uniques, and Legendaries. The table below clarifies exactly where each rarity sits in the overall Blooket hierarchy.
| Rarity | Obtainable From | Number of Types | Sell Price | Animated | Blook Score |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mystical | Event winners only | 5 types; 2 to ~50 copies | 1,000 tokens | Yes, all | 75 per Blook |
| Unique | Special one-time events | 2 types; 1 copy each | Cannot be sold | No | Varies |
| Chroma | Event boxes, some market packs | Many; varies | 300 tokens | No | Varies |
| Legendary | Market packs (0.2% to 1% drop) | Many | 75 to 100 tokens | No | Varies |
The distinction that confuses most players: Chromas are the rarest Blooks obtainable from packs. Mysticals are the rarest Blooks obtainable in the entire game overall. Uniques rank second in overall rarity but cannot be sold at all, which places them outside the token economy entirely. Consequently, Mysticals sit at the top of both the rarity system and the sell price system simultaneously.
How to Get a Mystical Blook: Blooket Events Explained
The direct answer: you cannot get any of the 5 current Mystical Blooks in 2026. All awarding events are permanently over. Spooky Ghost is retired. Tim the Alien, Phantom King, Rainbow Astronaut, and Hamsta Claus were one-time event prizes that Blooket has not and likely will not re-award.
However, Blooket continues to host competitive events. If Blooket introduces a new Mystical Blook for a future event, here is how to position yourself to earn it:
- Follow Blooket’s official channels on Twitter/X (@blooket), Instagram, and the official Blooket Discord for event announcements as soon as they go live
- Check the Blooket Market tab and the Event section on blooket.com regularly during seasonal periods
- Participate in every Contest of Candy: historically the CoC has been the most consistent source of Mystical prizes
- Build your quiz speed and accuracy: most Blooket events reward the fastest correct answers and highest cumulative scores
- Join an active Blooket guild: the Potions of Pix’ahlia event rewarded guilds rather than individuals; some future events may follow the same structure
- Monitor the Blooket Fandom Wiki and community Discord for event-specific strategy guides and leaderboard tracking
One critical note: no hacking, purchasing method, token exchange, or any other workaround will grant a Mystical Blook. If you see anyone claiming to sell or trade Mystical Blooks, it is fraudulent. Mysticals are competition-only prizes with no alternative acquisition path.
Which Mystical Blooks Appear in Game Modes?
Every Mystical Blook appears in Cafe as a customer character. Beyond Cafe, game mode appearances vary significantly between the 5 Mysticals. The table below organizes all confirmed appearances in one place.
| Mystical Blook | Crypto Hack | Santa’s Workshop | Monster Brawl | Fishing Frenzy | Tower Defense | Cafe |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Spooky Ghost | Yes | Yes | Yes (Halloween) | No | No | Yes |
| Tim the Alien | No | No | No | Yes | No | Yes |
| Phantom King | No | No | No | No | Yes | Yes |
| Rainbow Astronaut | No | No | No | No | No | Yes only |

Rainbow Astronaut and Hamsta Claus appear exclusively in Cafe. Tim the Alien appears in Fishing Frenzy, where it functions as one of the catchable Blooks while players answer questions to reel in characters.
