It’s Official: Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut Hits Switch 2 with 4-Player Online Mode & More!

SEGA has confirmed that Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut will launch on June 5, 2025, as a title for the new Nintendo Switch 2 console. This announcement comes with an enhanced version of the prequel Yakuza 0, which was critically acclaimed. This definitive edition aims to be the all-in-one package of this crime epic series by promising to add significant new feats and content that fans expect.

The game focuses on two characters: Kazuma Kiryu, a series protagonist in Tokyo’s Kamurocho, and Gogo Majima, a flamboyant figure in Osaka’s Sotenbori. The game perfectly combines the pulse-pounding beat-’em-up juggernaut brawler gameplay with, captivating drama-infused crime plot brimming with a captivating story and rich era-themed side activities and mini-games.
