How the squad rating works

The team rating is not a plain average. Cards above the average count extra, then the total is divided by 11 and rounded. That is why a few high cards plus cheap fodder can reach a high target. The calculator uses this commonly cited formula and searches for the squad with the lowest total card ratings.

How to use FC 27 SBC Rating Combination Calculator?

Choose your target rating, then enter up to two cards you already own, such as a 90 and an 88. Set the lowest and highest card you are happy to use. The tool lists the ratings of the remaining cards.

Card prices change daily, so the lowest total rating is a stand-in for the lowest coin cost. Check the live price of each rating before you buy.

Check in game

Always confirm the rating in the SBC screen before you submit. If the in-game number differs, trust the game. Some SBCs also require minimum chemistry or a set number of players from one league, which this tool does not model.

Example

With the defaults of an 87 target and a 90 fodder card, the tool suggests six 88s and four 75s. Adjust the highest card to see cheaper or safer options.

Frequently asked questions

How many cards make up an EA FC 27 team rating?

An SBC squad has 11 cards, and the rating is based on all 11.

Is the team rating a simple average?

No. Cards above the average add extra weight, then the total is divided by 11 and rounded.

What target ratings does the tool support?

It supports targets from 75 to 95, and you can add 2 fodder cards you own.

Why not just buy the lowest cards?

Low cards drag the average down, so a squad needs enough high cards to reach the target.
