Free and budget picks on the Reverse 1999 tier list

You do not need only limited 6-stars. Medicine Pocket, Vila, Druvis III and Getian are A tier and cheap to build, and An-an Lee, Pickles and Regulus are still good replacements while you wait for a stronger support.

How to use this Reverse 1999 tier list

A Reverse 1999 tier list is a guide, not a rule. Team synergy matters a lot in this game, so a B tier Arcanist can still be the right pick if they fit your carry. Use the board to decide who to pull and who to level first, then check the job filter to fill the gaps in your team.

New players should build one strong DPS, one support and one healer before anything else. If you already own an S+ damage dealer, look at the S+ and S supports on this Reverse 1999 tier list that match their afflatus and skills.

How we ranked the Arcanists

For this Reverse 1999 tier list we used Prydwen’s Reverse: 1999 tier list, which tests every Arcanist at low and high investment and was updated on November 4, 2026 for Version 4.0. We used the Overall view with Euphoria upgrades, because it shows long-term strength instead of one patch’s content.

Prydwen has eight tiers (S+ to F). To fit our board we kept S+ and S as they are, moved A+ to A, A to B, B to C, and grouped C, D and F as D. Tiers assume Portrait 0 and a good Psychube.
