Best Pokemon in PokeSurvivor
S tier: Eternatus, Mewtwo, Slaking, Roaring Moon, Spectrier, Regigigas. Each Pokemon in PokeSurvivor has three stats that matter: an attack multiplier that boosts every move, HP and speed. The S tier has the best mix of all three. Eternatus is the best overall: x1.50 attack, 133 HP and 133 speed, and its Poison moves deal a share of max HP, which shreds bosses and legendaries. Slaking and Regigigas have the highest attack in the S tier at x1.58, and Slaking adds a huge 138 HP.
A tier: Koraidon, Solgaleo, Lunala, Arceus, Garchomp, Xerneas, Yveltal, Rayquaza. Mostly legendaries with great HP or speed but a little less attack. Solgaleo and Lunala have 132 HP, Koraidon has 135 speed, and Rayquaza has x1.52 attack.
B tier: Kartana, Xurkitree, Rampardos, Blacephalon, Deoxys, Darmanitan, Great Tusk. Kartana has the highest attack in the whole game (x1.70) but only 97 HP, so it dies fast. Darmanitan is the best realistic pick because it is only a 3 star pull.
Best starter in PokeSurvivor
A personality quiz picks your first partner from 29 starters. Scorbunny has the highest attack of any starter (x1.09) and Sobble is close behind (x1.08) with the same 107 speed, plus Water types swim at full speed. Slowpoke has the most HP (110) and the biggest move pool. Since October 18, a move only hits at full strength if it matches your Pokemon’s stronger side (physical uses Attack, special uses Special Attack), so check the Side column.

Best moves in PokeSurvivor
You do not aim in PokeSurvivor, you dodge, so the best moves keep hitting while you run: auras and orbits around you, meteors and chains that find targets on their own.
| Tier | Moves | Why |
|---|---|---|
| S | Rock Slide, Thunderbolt, Hex, Discharge, Bulldoze, Fire Spin, Petal Blizzard | Auto-targeting crowd damage or constant protection. Rock Slide was nerfed on October 12 (26 to 21 damage) and is still a top pick. |
| A | Ember, Water Gun, Thunder Shock, Shadow Ball, Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, Flash Cannon, Heat Wave, Mud Shot, Grass Knot, Toxic, Hail | Reliable ranged damage with clean evolutions; slows keep hordes off you. |
| B | Melee moves (Body Slam, Karate Chop, Bite, Metal Claw), Bonemerang, Flamethrower, Flame Wheel | Melee was buffed on October 12 but still makes you get close. |
| C | Quick Attack, Aerial Ace, String Shot, Spikes, Psychic moves | Situational dashes and mines; Psychic moves were weakened on October 11. |
PokeSurvivor gacha rates, pity and tickets
New Pokemon come from a slot machine with one banner per region. It only uses tickets you earn by playing: there is no way to spend real money.
| Rarity | Chance per pull | Duplicate refund |
|---|---|---|
| 5 star (incl. legendaries) | 1.5% | 300 PokeCoins |
| 4 star | 6.5% | 120 PokeCoins |
| 3 star | 17% | 60 PokeCoins |
| 2 star | 30% | 30 PokeCoins |
| 1 star | 45% | 15 PokeCoins |
- Pity: 70 pulls without a 5 star on a banner makes the next pull a guaranteed 5 star. Pity does not carry across banners.
- Ten-pull: always contains at least one 4 star or better, so pull in tens.
- Shiny: 1 in 100 gacha pulls is shiny. Wild shiny odds are 1 in 4,096.
- Tickets: from daily and weekly missions, achievements, wild Pokemon drops, bosses (a x10 ticket about 1 time in 3) and rift legendaries (about half the time).
- Upgrades are per Pokemon: a new 5 star starts with no upgrades, so your levelled starter can still be stronger for a while.
PokeSurvivor tips for beginners
- Keep moving: your moves fire on their own, so your only job is to dodge.
- Take S tier move kinds first (auras, orbits, meteors, chains) so you deal damage while running.
- Match moves to your Pokemon’s stronger side: physical moves for high Attack, special moves for high Special Attack.
- Spend coins on permanent upgrades for the Pokemon you actually use.
- Save tickets for ten-pulls on one region banner to hit pity faster.
- Play co-op with up to 4 players for revives and easier boss fights.
Is PokeSurvivor free and safe?
Yes. PokeSurvivor is a free, non-profit fan game by a developer known as JPTER78, with no ads and no purchases. The only official site is pokesurvivor.com, and there is also a build on itch.io. It runs in the browser on PC and phones (touch controls turn on automatically), so there is no APK to download. It is not an official Pokemon game. Any site asking you to pay for tickets or download a file for free Pokemon is a scam.
How we ranked
The partner tiers rank every Pokemon by the game’s own attack multiplier, HP and speed, and by how hard each one is to pull. Starter stats, move tiers, gacha rates and patch dates are checked against the game’s public source code. You can play the game on the official PokeSurvivor site. We will update this PokeSurvivor tier list after balance patches.
