Soon after the first update of iOS 8, the iOS 8.0.1 which was loaded with bugs and errors, developers at Apple has just released the iOS 8.0.2 and made it available for the users to update their devices. However the update didn’t focused the iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 performance issues, as those smartphone’s performance dropped immensely after the iOS 8 update. We have pointed it out in our previous posts.
This quick iOS 8.0.2 update has been released to tackle all the issues which were face by iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus users. The users started complaining about the weird behavior and both of the devices has the no cellular phone service issue with the previous update. The new update have solved the issue for now and is considered as the stable version of the firmware.
However if you are iPhone 4S or iPhone 5 user you should not try to update your device to iOS 8.0.2 as there is nothing much for these two devices and the update worsen your device performance issue. It’s not uncommon for a software update to deliver a new bug entirely, but while it can be annoying when a new build seems to merely shuffle issues around rather than completely fixing every snag, the troubles that have arisen with iOS 8.0.1 on the new iPhones has meant that Apple needed to act very promptly indeed. If the bug was, say, a minor UI issue, Apple could have simply waited and dealt with it in a future update with other fixes, but when folk have paid hundreds of dollars to acquire a new smartphone, they rightly expect to be able to use the cellular radio by default
