Once her skills and exclusive abilities are unlocked, she surpasses mythical heroes. She is so strong that I removed one tier from every other hero, as no other hero should match her. Is she amazing? Yes. Should you get her? Be prepared to spend a solid three‑digit sum.

If you already have a decent Superman from the first banner, have enough shards to unlock her full kit, and plan to pull Krypto next, you’ll get a significant upgrade—especially if you skipped recent banners. However, you must invest in her; simply pulling and plugging won’t work.

This is the first banner you encounter and is definitely worth pulling. Even with few skills unlocked, it becomes one of the strongest early-game damage dealers in DC Dark Legion.

If you have collected enough Anvils to pull him and you are a free-to-play or low-spending player, consider skipping Nightwing unless you are a fan and want a bat-family lineup.

An exceptionally powerful hero who delivers high damage and scales dramatically with current multipliers.

Exciting synergy with the Justice League Dark and strong enemy energy suppression. A PvP-focused hero who can shake up the arena and pair well with Wonder Woman, Zatanna, and Constantine—heroes many players already own.

She is currently in a gray area between a rework that was quickly reversed, but whatever changes are coming will make her a top frontline.

He delivers strong area damage once fully built, making him ideal for handling summons and adds.

Assassins lack core support. Ra's Al Ghul drains his health, causing trouble even with a good healer. We need a League of Assassins support and a well-built Deathstroke. He's a current power creep and future investment. You can still add any healer, but there's an open spot in the League of Assassins team, so this ranking reflects that missing support hero.

A powerful and versatile hero, her healing remains strong despite a slight nerf in the latest public beta. She remains a top choice for DC Dark Legion.

This hero introduces a new faction and archetype that relies on counterattacks, but there aren’t enough Outsider heroes yet to activate his passive. He has great potential but needs Arsenal to perform well, and future Outsider heroes may help. Building him early is worthwhile, though his current impact is limited unless you play top ladder PvP.

Despite numerous reworks, buffs, and nerfs across beta versions, he remains a powerful frontline hero in DC Dark Legion.

Doctor Fate is especially important early in the game, before all heroes are fully unlocked and skilled. His massive shield helps a lot in tough stages.

He becomes a pure damage dealer. However, as you progress and invest more, you'll find he alone isn't enough; you need heroes that also support teammates by buffing damage or providing support, which he doesn't do unless you have Legion of Doom allies.

Donna Troy is underwhelming. She struggles in the front row and lacks damage output. Her only value is pairing with the expensive Wonder Woman Death Metal. The pattern is disappointing: you can build her for free in the event, yet she remains ineffective unless you invest heavily to acquire the complementary hero.

She is a solid hero for players who don't spend much. Upgrading her to mythic after maxing her legendary stars is a worthwhile improvement. It lets you invest in her Force Tree, and unless you frequently pull new mythic heroes in The Bleed, she will remain a frontline hero for a long time, though she won't be top meta.

He has a good buff, but I can't get him to perform well enough in any main squad to consider trading him for a carry.

She provides a super team buff on any crit; you'll need her eventually, but early play doesn’t require much focus.

Robin is solid but not exceptional overall. He can excel in certain setups and synergies, but he is definitely not a top-tier carry or assassin.

Krypto is a solid healer for the Superman Family team. While not top-tier, he is a good option if you need a reliable healer. Building him through the event is doable, but reaching a high level requires real money. If you already have Superman, Supergirl, and Superboy, Krypto becomes the primary healer, adding extra traits and Krypto energy to his healing and shielding. Otherwise, you can still collect and unlock his kit for fun, but there’s little incentive to invest heavily in him.

Her kit heals, damages, and lifedrains, keeping her alive. The drawback is her third skill swaps her with a frontline ally, which often ends poorly and can collapse the team. Manual use is fine, but auto mode can break matches and I was hurt. The swap is only useful when an enemy ports into your backrow; otherwise it’s largely pointless.

In some modes, such as DC Dark Legion, he is meta, yet in a main squad he is rarely used because you need a healing support and running two supports is impractical.

The mythic upgrade mainly improves scaling, and the only significant benefit is that Red Hood becomes untargetable during his ultimate, boosting survivability. Damage remains decent but not top-tier. Overall, the mythic version is a niche option; it’s not worth investing resources unless you already have duplicates and a team built around him.

Batman has remained solid since the first beta. The developers aimed for a signature hero that fits the game without overpowering it. You can build him confidently and enjoy plenty of fun.

He is a solid damage dealer who can manipulate enemy positions. His pull groups foes for area damage, but his push can also separate them, which is less useful. He is not a primary DPS, so you’ll need additional damage dealers on the team. Additionally, his ultimate requires a full Justice League roster, limiting his flexibility.

If you can make Hawkgirl synergize well by pulling enemies together and then nuking them, she can be effective. However, there are two major issues that keep her from a higher ranking. First, she lacks sufficient sustain to overcome larger level gaps. Second, if you don't use her as a frontline, you must replace one of your beloved back‑line damage dealers with her, which is not ideal. If you’re unsure whether to pull her banner, I think you can skip her and still be fine.

He offers a useful area‑damage kit for stages that need it, but as a physical damage dealer who debuffs spiritual damage he feels a bit out of place, so I don’t rank him in the top tiers.

Performed poorly in both horizontal and portrait versions. Many better frontline options exist, especially when a pure meatshield is required. I anticipate greater viability in PvP, so keep him on the radar for later.

The more I test him, the more I find him lackluster. As a frontline, there are far better and easier heroes, so building him feels pointless. While new heroes can shift the meta and make him viable, that isn’t the case right now. He fails to perform the expected frontline duties, and if you need damage or support, there are far superior options. He’s essentially a mythical version of Cat Woman.

Shazam is currently one of the weakest mythics. I expect the meta to shift with new heroes, but for now, collect his shards and unlock his skills without heavily investing in him. His taunt-based kit can be self-destructive, making him similar to the mythic Atom: he can do a lot but then vanish, leaving a gap in your defense.

Stargirl is disappointing and a poor squad choice; she can't sustain your team and you need a secondary support. With her, two of your three backrow slots are occupied, so she is only useful in specific encounters unless major changes occur.

Arsenal will become more relevant as more Outsiders heroes appear. He unlocks counterattacking, a feature unique to Martian Manhunter; without him, he is just a typical damage dealer. Unless you are building a Martian Manhunter strategy, there's no need to rush him.

He lacks damage but offers good survivability; he’s only useful when you need him.

Early in DC Dark Legion, Intimidators are not essential, so Black Canary offers little value at first. This gives you time to unlock her full kit. Later, her scaling is modest and the debuff percentages are not impressive, so building her early is not advisable.

I consider him the weakest mythical hero in DC Dark Legion. He offers little utility, so I often replace him with a well‑developed legendary hero.

Strong, free at launch, and inexpensive to build—an excellent carry for a while.

A solid free starter hero who can serve as a secondary tank for a while. Once you max her starts, you can upgrade her to mythic even as a F2P player. Unless you spend early and pull mythics early, she'll remain useful for a long time.

Mera is a strong early‑game healer with some drawbacks. Since the global launch, her healing has been balanced—strong enough to sustain but not overpowering. She is available from the start and can reliably serve as your primary healer for a while.

Strong early game damage dealer who stays effective, especially when spiritual damage is needed. He unlocks his kit quickly, making him useful in many teams for a while.

He deals solid damage, but won't drastically change the game. In early stages, you can run him as a reliable carry.

You can acquire her early and build her quickly. However, her kit limits her to off‑tanking, and her damage is mediocre, so she may not fit well in your team. She’s useful for early composition, but after a few days you can replace her without regret.

Good early, but missing synergy holds him back.

Vixen is a strong support that scales allies' attack with a multiplier, making her valuable as the game progresses. Early on she deals decent damage, but her true strength lies in consistently boosting team attack later. She isn’t essential in the very early stages, so avoid investing all resources into her right away; she is a late-blooming hero.

Decent character. Without his suicide-bombing ultimate, he would be quite good. His shrinking skill keeps him alive and he deals solid damage. He can be an early cheese pick in tough chapters, especially if you manually trigger his explosion for maximum value, but I doubt that’s enough to build him seriously.
