Star Wars: Galactic Racer Launches October 6: Release Date, Platforms, and Everything to Know
Star Wars: Galactic Racer, the new high-speed racing game set in a galaxy far, far away, launches worldwide on October 6, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. It is the debut title from Fuse Games, a studio founded in 2023 by former Criterion leads behind Burnout and Need for Speed, published by Secret Mode in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games.

What is Galactic Racer?
Galactic Racer is a runs-based, high-stakes reinvention of racing set in the lawless Outer Rim during the early New Republic era. With the Empire fallen, underground racing has boomed, and The Galactic League is born: an unsanctioned circuit where syndicates bankroll pilots and fortunes are won and lost in seconds. Players become Shade, a lone racer chasing revenge and glory, helped by Ardennian mechanic Hibi and even Sebulba himself. You will pilot landspeeders, speeder bikes, a brand new skim speeder, and classic podracers across a story-driven campaign and strategic PvP grudge matches. As the developers put it: no Force, no prophecy, just skill, strategy, and the will to rise.
