Blooket Teacher Account Switch: How to Do It (Complete 3-Step Guide)
The Blooket teacher account switch takes about ten seconds, and you do it from inside your settings.
If you signed up as a student but now run games for a class, this guide shows where to find the option and what changes on screen. You will need to be logged in. If you have no account yet, start with our Blooket sign up guide.
What the Teacher Account Switch Does
Blooket lets one login act as either a student or a teacher account. Switching marks your account as a teacher’s, which is the account type meant for hosting games and assigning work. The tutorial this guide follows is from 2023, so check the screen on blooket.com if anything looks different.
Blooket Teacher Account Switch, Step by Step
Step 1: Open Settings
Log in and open the Blooket dashboard. Click Settings at the bottom left of the sidebar.

Step 2: Click Switch to Teacher Account
Scroll to the Edit Info box. Click Switch to Teacher Account. The other links there let you change your name, add a password, change your email or delete the account.

Step 3: Check that it worked
Reload Edit Info. The link now reads Switch to Student Account, which means your account is a teacher account. You can switch back at any time.

What to Do Next
