Treasure of Nadia Walkthrough: Complete 2026 Guide From Start to 100%

This Treasure of Nadia walkthrough is the hub for our whole guide series. It covers how the game is structured, what to do in your first hour, which tools to buy and in what order, and where every side system (crafting, keys, puzzles, fishing, plants) fits. Every section links to a dedicated page that goes deep on that one topic, so you can jump straight to the part where you are stuck.

Treasure of Nadia is a point-and-click treasure hunting adventure by NLT Media, the studio behind Lust Epidemic and The Genesis Order. It left early access on Steam on February 15, 2022, runs on Windows, Mac and Linux, and is rated Very Positive from more than 6,500 user reviews. You play a young man who returns to the coastal town of Cape Vedra after his father’s death and takes up his treasure hunting work, guided by the spirit of Evie inside a Soul Crystal.

How This Treasure of Nadia Walkthrough Is Organised

The game is long. GOG’s time-to-beat data puts the main story at about 30 hours, main plus side content at 42 hours and a completionist run at 44 hours. The community guide this series is cross-checked against was written over 200 hours and four full runs. Rather than one giant wall of steps, we split it by system:

Before You Start: Settings That Save Hours

  • Set Move Speed to Fast. Evie suggests it in the tutorial and you will cross the same screens hundreds of times.
  • Save often. There is no cloud save, and a few deaths (the jaguar, drowning, hypothermia) are part of the late game.
  • Open the inventory with Esc or right-click. It shows your items, the heart meter for every woman, your four tools and the local map. Green links on the map mean you can travel, red doors mean that route is still locked.
  • Hold your Broken Keys. There are exactly enough keys for every chest. Spending broken keys early on a Chest Key can leave you short when you need a Pirate Key or the Tomb Key.

Treasure of Nadia Walkthrough: The First Hour

The opening tutorial ends when you pick up the Soul Crystal. From there, this is the cleanest route through the early game:

  1. Go to Estero State Park, meet Michael the park ranger and dig up your first sparkle. Sparkles never vanish if you ignore them, but a spot cannot respawn until you collect what is there.
  2. Sell the Stone Talisman to Diana at the Library. Stone Talismans are only worth $10, so expect a slow start.
  3. Visit Albert at the Lighthouse and note the number 6 on the floor (six torches unlock it later).
  4. At the Full Mast Bar, grab the Room Key from the sparkle in the corner, then unlock the upstairs room at Janet’s home for your Photo ID. Note the number on the chalkboard; you need it later.
  5. Talk to Tasha at the bar and remember Naomi’s order: Sex on the Beach. Bring Dark Rum to Albert to get the Binoculars.
  6. Pick up the Chest Key on the left side of the park and farm talismans until you can afford the Field Guide ($60) at Squallmart. From that point you also find Jade Talismans.
  7. Give your first Jade Talisman to Pricia at the Parlor. She grants a timed Awareness bonus that grows with each higher-tier talisman you give her.
  8. Buy, in this order as cash allows: Insurance ($60), Metal Detector ($70), Lighter ($40), Shovel Head ($80). The Metal Detector starts revealing gold piles worth $5, $100, $950 and $9,000.

Skip the Bait Shop for now. Lures are much better value once the heavy lures unlock, and the side activities (temple puzzles, booty calls, fishing, house upgrades) are easier after the main story.

Tool Upgrade Order

Progress in Treasure of Nadia is gated by four tools: Boots, the Metal Detector, the Guide and the Shovel. Upgrading them is the real spine of any walkthrough.

Tool Upgrade path What it does
Guide Field Guide → Super Guide Raises the tier of talismans you dig up
Shovel Jade → Swift → Pirate → King’s → God’s Digs lower talismans instantly and higher ones faster
Boots Stompin’ Boots → Spike Boots Immunity to hazards such as scorpions
Detector Metal Detector → Gold Compass Gold piles, then Gold Talismans from coins

The full ingredient list for every shovel is on our Treasure of Nadia shovels page, and the talisman tiers they unlock are explained in the talismans guide.

Mid-Game: Keys, Crafting and the Caverns

Once you have the Jade Shovel, the story opens up into the Caverns, the Deep Jungle, the Church crypt and eventually Casula Temple and the Lost Underground. This is where most players get stuck, and almost always for one of three reasons:

  • A missing recipe ingredient. Rock Bombs, the Pirate Key and the Metal Ladder all need items from three different areas. Check the crafting recipes table before you leave town.
  • A chest you cannot open. Some need a Chest Key, some a Pirate Key, and a few are only reachable with the Grappling Hook, Whip or Pickaxe. Our chest key locations list shows which tool each one needs.
  • A skipped conversation. The Soul Crystal will point you in the right direction during the main story; if nothing new is happening, talk to every character again.

Making Money Without Cheats

Late-game purchases are expensive: Gold Ore is $4,000, the Encryption Scanner is $43,000 and the Prayer of Remote Offering is $30,000. The best legitimate income comes from three places: higher-tier talismans (a Royal Talisman sells for $36,000), Jim’s fishing bounties (over $300,000 in total) and a fixed loop through the park’s teleporter spots. We cover all three on the Treasure of Nadia cheats and money page.

After the Story: Post-Game Checklist

When the main story ends, the Soul Crystal is replaced by the Empty Pocket, which tracks what you are still missing: 72 hearts, five Kama Sutra pages per woman, one solo booty call each, and every extra. To finish everything you will need to:

If you want to protect a long run before trying any of this, copy your saves first using the paths on our save file location page. You can buy the game or check its system requirements on Treasure of Nadia on Steam.

Common Stuck Points in the Treasure of Nadia Walkthrough

Most “I’m stuck” moments in Treasure of Nadia come from the same handful of situations. Before you restart a chapter, check these:

  • A character will not appear. Story characters only show up after a trigger. One well-known example: Albert does not appear where expected if you missed picking up a key segment earlier. Go back over the last few areas for sparkles.
  • You keep getting stung. Scorpion rooms in the park need Insurance (so the doctor can treat you) and later the Stompin’ Boots, crafted from Leather Gloves, Damaged Boots, Shoelaces and Shoe Glue.
  • You cannot afford the next tool. Sell everything to Diana, give Pricia a talisman for the Awareness bonus, then sweep Estero State Park until the timer runs out.
  • A recipe will not craft. You have not read its scroll yet, or one ingredient is the wrong version (a Shovel Head is not an Alloy Shovel Head).
  • A locked chest. Check whether it wants a Chest Key, a Pirate Key or a tool such as the Pickaxe.

This Treasure of Nadia walkthrough is written so you can dip in at any point. If you only need one answer, the spoke pages linked above are faster than reading the whole thing.

Final Thoughts

Treasure of Nadia rewards patience more than speed. Use this Treasure of Nadia walkthrough as a map rather than a script: follow the opening steps closely, then let the spoke guides handle keys, recipes and puzzles as you reach them. If something in the Treasure of Nadia walkthrough does not match your game, you most likely skipped a small step a few screens back.
